How did we get our start?
Renogy started as a small project by students at Louisiana State University. With the help and support of the Louisiana Business and Technology Center, Renogy has grown into a flourishing company.
What problem are we solving?
Renogy intends to be a driving force behind the push for sustainable living and energy independence.
What makes our products unique?
We aim to provide all the components necessary for users to build off-grid solar power systems at affordable prices.
[Industry-Leading N-Type 25% Efficiency] Engineered with premium 16BB cell and N-Type technology, the Renogy 300 watt solar panel achieves 25% conversion efficiency – significantly outperforming standard 9BB 300w solar panel’s 22.5% efficiency. This means you get more usable power from the same sunlight exposure, especially beneficial in space-constrained RV installations or cloudy conditions.
[Lightweight & Foldable] At just 18.74 lbs (17% lighter than standard 300w portable solar panel) and folding to 23.2”x29.3”x3.2” in space-saving design. Perfect for camping, RV trips, or emergency backup. The Renogy solar panels deliver 960Wh daily (sunlight-dependent) and fold easily for storage or transport. Take reliable solar power anywhere!
[IP67 Waterproof & Extreme Durability] This Renogy foldable solar panel features IP67 waterproof with hail-resistant ETFE coating and premium N-type solar cells for highest efficiency and durability. The solar panels for camping withstand extreme weather (-40°F~185°F), like hail, storms, snow, and scorching heat while delivering reliable power for your RV trips, camping adventures, or off-grid needs.
[1-Minute Setup] No tools needed! Unfold, prop up the rust-proof kickstands, and get power in 60 seconds. IP68 connectors work with most portable power stations and batteries.
[Uninterrupted Power Even Under Partial Shading] – Shadows from trees or clouds? Not an issue. This Renogy rv solar panel features parallel wiring that ensures individual shadows won’t diminish the overall efficiency of the interconnected panels.

Title: Great external panels for van life
Review: Exactly as described, sturdy, seemingly very high quality and easy to use as an extension to the solar array on my van. Performance seems decent given that I can max performance at about 250 watts with the right sun angle. I bought this one over the similar 400 watt version because it has the newer solar cells and is slightly smaller and easier to transport / store. I also like that it has bumpers on the corners to protect the panels and I also find the padded case to be really good quality. Note: the panels do not come with any cords and you need to buy that separately, depending on how you’re connecting the panels. Highly recommend due to size, value and performance.

Title: Very effecient panel with small gripes
Review: This is a nice solar panel that is new in the Renogy solar suitcase lineup. The panel works well with better efficiency thanks to the new N-type cells. I was able to get 270-280 watts into my power station in full sun, but not a perfect angle.Pros:Good outputLight and moveable 18 lbsQuick setup and take downGreat price at about $1/ wattNice build like all the suitcase lineupCons:Despite complaints about the 220 and 400 watt versions having unadjustable stands, the new 300 watt and 100 watt have the same issue. Using the stands will create too severe an angle for me, even in January, at well over 30%While the new cover material is nicer on the 300/100 models, for some reason, they shrunk the wire pouch in the front by over 50%. Forget getting anything over about 10 feet in there. In short, a nice panel, but if you want peak efficiency, be prepared to use something under each section to lower the angle based on your latitude and the time of year.

Title: Build quality and ease of use are excellent
Review: The build quality and ease of use are great. Comes with a nice case that is well padded on both sides. Also has a decent size storage pouch on outside of case for wires and owners manual. With solid sunlight and no clouds I’m seeing average 240-265 watts charging a C1000x power station. Would definitely recommend this Renogy 300 watt N2 portable panel.

Title: Low output.
Review: Great looking panel just not getting the performance I was hoping for. Build and ease of use is good. The highest output I have seen so far with a perfectly clear day is 205 watts. Seems to average 185-190 watts of output. I ordered a second panel thinking this one was damaged but I’m getting the same results. I called Renogy with my concern and I was told it wasn’t defective unless the output was below 160watts.
