Title: Convenient Set Up for a Classroom Stained Glass Project
Review: This soldering unit was perfect for my high school sculpture class. It was so easy to set up and store away between classes. The unit includes the soldering iron and holder as well as a dedicated space for the sponge and wire to clean the tip. The vent fan made a difference and was helpful when students had to work inside. The unit has a convenient holder for the soldering wire, although I did have to buy a separate roll of 50/50 for our stained glass project. The digital temperature control was easy to use. however we ended up having to use it at the highest temperature for our particular project. So far, it has held up well!

Title: Awesome fan!
Review: This fan is awesome! It definitely will suck the fumes while soldering. I tried another brand and it was terrible, you had to be right against it. This fan on the other had will definitely provide enough of a draft that you can solder about a foot or a little further away from it.

Review: ok, so where do i start..the build quality is pretty nice it feels durable.. and the arms are sturdy, the package came with 4 sets of filters and the strength of the helping hands on pretty nice just make sure to tighten them XDBUT the strength of the fan is a but weak. you have to be like an inch or two away from it (MAX 3… maybe) or the fumes will go up.. it is manageable and i do recommend getting this bc its still a fume filter at the end of the day. its better to have something that works than nothing at all. oh and it had limited tilt when tilting it upwards..

Review: Works as it should. I use it almost daily and keeps the smoke out my face and I use it for hours at a time. Best value of all the ones I looked and and hasn’t let me down. Good tip is I rinse the filters let em dry and reuse. Build quality is strong aswell. Not to big were it’s taking up my whole desk I love it.

Review: Very good, the filter/fan works nicely, you can see fumes get sucked in, no more inhalation of carcinogens! Highly recommend, it also comes with extra filters and a spool of soldering wire.

Title: Eh…
Review: I wouldn’t buy this. Does it work? Yes. But not well. The suction isn’t very good, and you have to keep it about 3 inches away from the soldering iron for it to pull the fumes. And the attached power cord is entirely too short. I have to keep it in a very weird spot on my work bench because of how short it is. I’m definitely going to upgrade from this in the near future, but I don’t recommend wasting the money on this.
