Title: Finally!!!!
Review: It has been over 2 years atleast trying to find the right pillow. My neck has been killing me for as long as I can remember. Now most of it is due to posture and tightness but also my pillows. After trying pillow after pillow, I can finally say I have found the one!Now here is the thing at first this thing is hard and takes about 4 weeks to really break it in.I have some tips on how to break it in a little faster.- I put two 8 lb weights on it during the day when I wasn’t sleeping.- I would occasionally throw it in the dryer with no heat and some tennis balls to bash around in there.- at night I would put a heating pad on low on it and sit on it while I read my book before bed. Also would feel nice on the neck at night when the pillow was warm.- if I couldn’t make it on the pillow all night at first I would keep another pillow close to switch it.Now it is great and much less hard and I sleep pretty good now (: so give it time if you try it!

Title: This is NOT the old, tried and true quality of Tempur-Pedic!
Review: Having owned and used one of the original Tempur-Pedic Neck pillows for over 20 years, I know a bit about the quality and what they should feel like (and how it’s saved my sleep life after having neck injuries years ago).Figured I’d try a new one, since they do get too soft when heating up overnight, and thought it’d be nice to have a 2nd, still cool one to trade out at night, to maintain proper neck and spine support, so I ordered the new version of the same pillow.SO different – hard as a rock (although much lighter weight pillow, ironically), but the quality of the supposed Tempur material is NOTHING like it used to be. Feels like overly firm, cut foam. It was so hard (and I ordered the smaller size that’s not as tall) I couldn’t even lie on it – returned the same day.

Title: The SHAPE of this provides relief to back/side sleepers, but it is a bit too firm. will update
Review: I am a back sleeper, very still and never move all night. The pillow is small (side to side) but works for me. I have the SAME version of this pillow, but it is older. My older one feels more gooey/dough like and my neck almost instantly molds to the old pillow compressing it very little. The newer version does not react as quickly to compress the foam and the foam is stiffer and firmer, not gooey/dough like so my head does rest a bit higher on this new one. Old foam Vs new foam is a completely different foam.+++What I love about this pillow is the SHAPE of it. This is what provides relief for my neck. If you happen to look at any contour pillows, they all market them as having 2 sides you can use. A 3.5″ and a 4.3″ are the typical measurements for those contour bumps. BUT if you want to use the 3.5″ side, the other higher side still keeps your head up too high pushing your chin into your neck. The center slope is not low enough either. I consider that a major design flaw that they used in a way to market it to more people, large or small. It does not work for smaller people.Temperpedic has designed these CORRECTLY so you pick your own size pillow!! Small, medium, or large. These are the sizes of the contour bump heights, NOT the size/width of the pillow! I LOVE the design of this pillow, it is perfect for me having only one smaller contour and the other end flat. My chin is NOT pushed into my neck. Just a bit too firm, but not skin numbing firm. Not sure if I will keep it or not just yet.For side sleeping, this pillow’s shape works for me too. My shoulders are not broad and my mattress is extremely soft so my shoulders do sink more into my mattress so a high pillow is not required for me for side sleeping. Again though, the pillow is a bit too firm and does not mold to my head/neck nearly as much as my old original Tempurpedic pillow does. I may try to heat it with a hair dryer or put it in the dryer first to see if that does anything for it before using it next. I wished they offered this in different densities.

Title: Tried them all, so far so good
Review: Update 1/29/25 – i kept rolling off in the middle of the night and developed a bad pinched nerve in between my shoulder blades. Not sure if it’s related. It was too firm for me too.I’ve tried several cervical pillows but had to send them back because they were too high. They start out working, but after a month im rolling off in the middle of the nighr. This one at least comes 3″ in the small and fits much better. It’s still very firm, but usually when I wake up it seems to fit me perfectly. I sleep on my back and side usually and am still able to with this pillow. My right fingers used to fall asleep and they no longer do. I dont have headaches anymore either. Sometimes I stand/sit on the pillow to soften it up, per the Tempurpedic website. Overall pretty pleased.

Title: Absurdly Small
Review: While I saw the dimensions and knew the size, getting it and seeing how ridiculously small it really is let alone attempting to sleep on it compared to any normal pillow (and my old contoured pillow) is eye opening. I’m only 4’11” and 95lbs so been looking for a pillow like this with lower contour bumps to fit my very small head, neck, and body. I’ve tried 6 pillows so far and none work (all too high increasing neck pain). I was really hopeful this would be the best fit and bought the small. I have a very small head and this pillow per LxW is way too small for any grown adult head (and I’m child-sized) no matter what position you try to sleep. The contoured heights may be close to what a petite person needs but the total size really needs to scale up so that you can sleep on it and have your head lay in the center of it. Proportions are just off too. Yes it is very firm as other mention, and I’m guessing over time it softens so that’s not even an issue. Better as a travel pillow perhaps as it will easily fit in a carry on bag. So disappointing.

Review: As mentioned in certain reviews the pillow is quite firm at first… Was kinda like sleeping on a log at first…But after a couple of weeks it softened up and I now find it to perfect!Important to mention that I ordered the size small…Many negative reviews I read were of size medium….I would not want it to be any bigger than the one I have. Fills up the space under my neck perfectly.
