Title: More compact case for travel
Review: I have a hard case for the Flip, but I wanted something smaller, lighter, and easier to travel with, in particular to tuck inside a carry-on bag for flying. This case is about as small as it can be and still include the drone and a charging hub and batteries. It’s not as “bullet proof” as a heavier hard shell case, but it’s more than adequate for typical use. It’s well made and attractive.The interior is not the typical drone case foam with cutouts for components. Instead, there’s a molded interior piece with fabric covering. Everything fits well and the case can accommodate either an RC or RC-N type controller. With the RC controller, there’s room beneath the controller for cables or spare props. It is possible to leave the sticks attached to either controller.I reduced the rating one star because of the difficulty removing the controller from the case. A simple notch on the right side of the controller space would allow slipping a finger under the drone to pull it out.

Review: I just recently purchased the DJI Flip drone with Fly More Combo package with the RC-2 controller. The included case just wasn’t enough to protect this drone, to me it’s good for shipping only. Your case fit the bill for safely carrying the drone and its components.

Review: This case came nicely packaged in a sturdy paperboard box. It is a well made, sturdy carrying case and the interior section for holding the drone and accessories is particularly stiff and strong. The carry handle is very sleek and unobtrusive, and padded for comfort. A removable shoulder strap is included if you prefer, though it looks a bit skinny to be comfortable over the shoulder for any length of time. Zipper is extremely smooth and secure. Main complaint is the item has a very unpleasant chemical smell, but I suspect that will dissipate over time.I am not a drone enthusiast, but liked the dimensions of this case for carrying other items. The formed interior for holding the drone and accessories is permanently sewn into the case, but with a bit of delicate cutting with an exacto knife, it was easily removed and I now have a convenient lightweight carrying case for numerous items. The exterior is stable and stiff and offer good protection against bumping and scuffs, but the interior has no padding and the case does not feel like it would hold up to any excessive weight on top of it without collapsing. Overall, a quality product at a fair price.
