Title: Phone lasts all day again – new again
Review: I got this battery to breathe fresh life into my old phone. I’ve had the A71 for 4 years. It’s really a pretty great phone and the battery does still work, but like all li-ion batteries, it’s not as great as it was new. It was time for a new battery.This battery came with a kit of tools to help with the replacement process, especially to pry off the back and side bezels to get to the battery and it’s attachments. The kit includes screwdrivers as well as a pry tools an even some glue to help seal the back when you put everything back together.The replacement wasn’t super easy, but was pretty typical of a cell phone battery replacement. The most tedious step is separating the side bezel and the screen. It helps to have a lower heat heat gun to soften the glue, especially for this step to prevent break the screen in the process. Once everything is apart the battery replacement is simple and then it’s just putting it all back together.The new battery is working great and lasting all day plus like it did when it was brand new.
