Title: Easy and fun!
Review: Great tool! I’m mechanically inclined, so expected to hit the 20 minute mark for assembly, since the instructions said 15. It took 30. It was attaching the handle to the T that got me. I wrestled with those flat little wrenches for too long, then went and got my real ones. Save yourself time and just start with real wrenches. If you don’t have them, the little ones will work, maybe have some patience and don’t try to beat a timer!!!Other than that, assembly was an absolute cake walk. Seriously.Once assembled in the living room on a carpeted floor, I was sure to not roll the spreader on concrete so as to not wear the paint. I don’t know if it would have, but I saw a similar spreader at Home Depot rental and the edges were a scraped rusty mess.Ease of use: yasssss! This rolling goddess of a device and I spread 10 bags of soil amendment, 1 bag of top soil, and 3.75 bales of peat moss. When dumping stuff in- word of warning- don’t let the bag slip into the spreader. Keep it at the edge and dump from there. It was a dumb move on my part at the tail end of the spreading extravaganza, and I my back was admittedly running out of gas- from lifting the bags- not rolling the spreader!!!Did you need to know all of that? Nope. But if you are debating on which spreader to get, I can’t think of a single reason to get one other than this one. It was so fun, I’m no planning on gifting my lawn a coating of compost a couple of times a year!!!

Title: Great garden/yard tool to have on hand
Review: Works great! It’s a good size – not too big/heavy, and not too small so you can’t put a whole bag of compost in.Really would help to have 2 people putting it together as the stands that are included for assembly purposes really don’t help much.

Title: Worth it
Review: Purchased to top dress bare sections of yard and grassy areas for when I seeded fescue.I applied a layer, seeded, another layer, and more seeded.Easy to use and filters out wood chips and other bits while breaking down a clumpy bags of top soil.Only drawback is using with damp topsoil and doing multiple passes. It will pick up what you already put down on the ends of the basket where the bolt heads are.

Title: Slight difficultys with assembly
Review: Product quality is ok, however a few issues during assembly, and not happy about it. Some of the threads were less than perfect, and Arc #4 was hard to align, and still not perfect. Were I not mechanical with the proper tools, this product would have gone back.

Title: Feels like a $40 device. Works but disappointing
Review: Does the job but way overpriced at $90. The tolerances on all part alignments are off and the assembly is flimsy. The drilled holes are oversized which prevents the lock washers from pinching properly. The panels do not align well and “ARC 4” required some knee persuasion to get it to latch at all. It feels like a $40 device. The provided tools were also out of tolerance. The wrenches were soo off that I needed to grab my own tools to tighten the device. It’s only saving grace is that it’s intended to have tons of holes, so misaligned panels and slopy tolerances aren’t the worst thing for a compost spreader, but it’s cheap and crappy.
