Title: This is about Corey not the bands he’s in.
Review: A lot of fans will always say this isn’t Slipknot or Stone Sour. Of course not, what’s the point of doing a solo album. If you are just going to do the same old thing, with different players. This is a chance to express more of himself, without having to deal with a regular band situation. I’m a little older than Corey, so I immediately recognize the influences he has. Listening to these songs, reminds me a lot of the music of the 70s & 80s, with a modern twist. Songs like HWY666 , Black Eyes Blue & Samantha’s Gone, especially remind me of that time. I can see my home state, adopting Kansas, for some political thing in the future (sorry Corey). The album does rock though, Corey sounds as great as ever, he has assembled some great players. This should wind up as another great hit, for that belt of his.

Title: Good album from CT!!
Review: This is for the most part a pretty good album. Was I in love with every song on it? Absolutely not it has about 5 stand out tracks on it and, the rest was decent. My favorite song off the album is The Maria Fire so good and amazing! If, you’re a Corey Taylor fan pick up this album. I’m a huge Stone Sour fan and, I wasn’t disappointed.

Title: Brilliant hard rock
Review: I’ve been a slipknot fan since I seen them in Indianapolis in 1999, and stone sour wasn’t a favorite of mine but over time it became one of my favorites! This favors stone sour more and by the 3rd listen it has become one of my favorite hard rock albums! If u only listen to extreme metal this isn’t for you

Title: Different is good!
Review: If you go into this expecting it to be like either of Taylor’s bands…you’re smoking something. This is quite a nice change from his two bands. Very strong southern rock vibe. One track that has really impressed me though is the ballad “Home”. This song is just Taylor and a piano and a very well written ballad. The one thing that this album did for Corey Taylor is cement his place as a rock icon of the past 20 years.

Review: Another reviewer absolutely pegged it with “It’s not that CMFT is a bad album, it’s just not a memorable one.” For the most part they were throw away songs. There were several that were ok, but nothing that would make me want to re-listen to it any more than I have. Nor would I recommend it as a must hear, must own. It will probably collect dust in my collection representing collecting more for the completeness than for the enjoyment.

Review: I am listening to the album as I write this review. I have read several reviews before making my purchases. Being a fan of Slipknot for many years, having seen them live, I knew this album was coming but just missied it’s arrival.I don’t know if the correct term is gallimaufy or hotch-potch, but there is a dramatic swing from one style to another… a mind-boggling swing that celebrates and illustrates Mr Taylor’s (we’ve not been formally introduced) singing abilities: thrash, hip-hop, rap, 80s rock and even a smidgen of crooning, just to keep the listener off-guard. So many of the songs are reminiscent of bands like Foo Fighters, Motorhead, Kansas, AC/DC that one could easily fit this album into the “Supernatural” soundtrack, apart from all the sweariness, obviously. 🤘😎Personally , I think this is a fantastic album and variety most definitely the spice of life when it comes to this album.

Review: まだ触りくらいしか聞いていませんが、好きですね。Album的にはstonesourよりだと思います。自分はコリィの声とか人そのものが好きなので余程奇抜な事しない限りは好きですね…例えばいきなりダンスミュージックみたいの作ったりしない限りは。(笑)
