Title: Kudos to Roofull customer service – Now Working
Review: When I received this CD/DVD drive to use on my iMac, I could not get it to sync to my computer. I reached out via email to Roofull Customer Service, who responded very quickly. Several of these interchanges occurred, but we were not able to resolve the issue. Roofull sent me a new drive, which I was able to sync quickly and I am using it seamlessly. The carrying case is attractive and useful. Over the last few years, I seldom get the prompt responses from a product’s customer service as I have from Roofull, whose interactions are consistently professional and courteous. And as one who has limited experience and knowledge about burning CD’s and DVD’s, I appreciate the ease of using this device, now that it is working.

Title: Great Product and Great Customer Service
Review: I bought this player specifically for a favorite old graphics program that needs its disc mounted to run, but it turns out this player does everything and does it well, for a REALLY good price. You kust plug it into a USB port and it’s ready to go. I thought I had abused it a couple of weeks ago when it stopped recognizing a disc inside, so I contacted the company. The response was immediate, friendly and thorough. They included a troubleshooting guide in their response and assured me that if nothing resolved the problem they would just send me a new one. I followed the guide and when nothing helped I reported back, and they immediately sent me a new one, via UPS. They even followed up on that a few days later to make sure I got it and to assure me that they had my back if anything ever went wrong again. A company can’t do better than that. If there were 10 stars I’d give them every single one.

Title: Great CD/DVD drive, but no speed demon.
Review: This is my second Rooful drive. First one was amazing, but broke (misreading discs) after about three years of occasional use. Replaced it with an HP speed demon, and that only made it a year before it started misreading discs.This one is quiet and well made. Like the last Rooful, the cord is too short, but being permanently attached means you won’t lose it. The only issue is its speed reading discs. I mostly use this to rip CDs, and I’m pretty used to what modern drives can do. This one struggles to get much past 12x, the HP before it did 24x easy, but even my last Rooful could swing 18x. As such, I can’t quite give five stars, but this is still a very nice unit.

Review: I want to preface my review with that I am very tech savvy, I help people troubleshoot devices daily, and have exhausted all the tricks and tips that tech support usually offer, plus some.This drive is worthless. It feels flimsy, cheap, and not durable at all.Right out of the box, it wouldn’t open. I tried a different USB port, and it popped open so I thought maybe my port had gone bad on my new computer. Hey, it could happen, right?I put a DVD in and it played fine.The next disk it had a hard time reading. I checked to make sure the disk wasn’t dirty or scratched. It was fine. Put it back in and it took a long time before it started to recognize the drive. Switched USB ports again, it worked.I put in a third disk, and again took a long time to recognize the drive.Discs 4 – 7 were the same.Disc 8 – absolutely nothing. After trying EVERY USB port on my computer, plus my external USB extenders, my computer continues NOT to recognize that there is a DVD player even plugged in.It. Just. Does. Not. Work.I was only trying to watch a few (legit) DVDs.I’m honestly not sure how this drive has gotten so many good reviews. The price tag is attractive, but after wasting $20 on this thing and the frustration of dealing with it, it’s not worth it. Of course, it stopped working after the return window, so I’m out the money. I’ll be looking for something better.

Title: Economical and Great For Travel
Review: Internal DVD/CD drives have become a thing of the past but it still nice to have the ability to play them. It’s a simple plug and play external drive that meets my needs and it can also be easily packed for travel. If buying this model I’d also recommend buying the ROOFULL hard drive Protective Storage Carrying Sleeve.

Title: Plug n’ Play with a PC video player
Review: I was able to simply plug this CD/DVD player into my PC and with a video player (e.g. VLC), it worked right away. I will continue to use it and see how it functions, haven’t used the USB and SD card ports yet but so far so good. Roofull was also quick to reply for extra 2 year warranty.

Review: Compre este producto para poder copiar discos de musica a mi computadora, descarge vlc, music bee, use windows media player, ningun programa podia copiar mas de una cancion antes de bloquearse completamente. Como se que era este lector? por que compre uno LG en su lugar y ese funciono de maravilla.No vale la pena si deseas copiar mucha informacion, no se que tal sirva para quemar discos pero asumo que sera igual de pesimo.

Review: Hello I have a Laptop with Windows 11. It was recognized, nothing to download to get the Drive to work.I’m using Windows Legacy Media Player, all good NO problems. I have 1 complaint, that being the non-detachable USB Cord is too short. An extra Foot in length or a removable cord would be better. It’s nota perfect World. I’m happy.
