Title: Poor Substitute for 840 V5 Running Shoe
Review: I was disappointed to learn that New Balance was discontinuing 840 V5 Running Shoe. It has been the best shoe that I have ever owned. I went online to find its replacement and it was recommended to try this shoe. It is not as stable as the 840 V5 Running Shoe. The fit is narrower even on the wide version which I bought. The size seems to run 1/2 size smaller as I found the arch of this shoe pressing against my heel leaving me feeling like I want to slide my heel rearward in the shoe. The foam in the shoe is squishy and leaves footing feeling unbalanced and unstable.I will be looking for new brand of shoes as New Balance seems more concerned with introducing new features to sell shoes instead of providing a product that is good for customer.

Title: Great for walking
Review: These shoes are great for walking. I had foot surgery and cannot go on long walks without inserts unless I wear these shoes. I have purchased 3 pairs so far and will continue.
