Title: Good for a beginner
Review: I’m new to skating, specifically cruising and I gotta say this board was easy for me to ride. I started off with a 27.5” mini cruiser and found it to be to small. i’m a 6ft 190lbs man so I needed something bigger and wider so I can feel more stable. I ordered the 38” by 9” magneto board and it was perfect. The Magneto packaging is good, nice and compact, and the board is pretty much ready for use right out the box. I did listen to a couple of reviews about checking all the bolts to make sure nothing is loose and had to tighten the trucks a little and the bushings (optional depending on how tight you like them). Other than that, the board is nice and easy to ride. PS: The quality of the bearings and wheels seem fine to me but I am a beginner and this is my first longboard so I don’t really have much to compare.Update: 9/27/18So i’ve had this board for about 2 weeks now and I learned a lot since then. I bought some new bearings (heady shake) and right away felt the difference. I also bought new wheels (bigfoot mountain cruisers) which are bigger and harder (76mm, 80a verses the stock 70mm, 78a) and it made the board faster and smoother. Now I can comfortably say that the stock bearings are decent and worth upgrading considering they’re cheap to buy. As for the wheels, if you want to ride faster, i’d recommend buying some bigger wheels that are a little harder. Still don’t know enough to have a firm opinion about the trucks/bushings but they seem good to me.

Title: Great fun for my beginner longboarder
Review: Bought this board as a birthday present for my 9yo son who has been skateboarding on and off for about two years. We’ve mostly been going to a skatepark because the pavement in front of our house is a little rough. This long board is totally different – its big wheels and smooth bearings roll right over the rough pavement and even small obstacles like sticks and leaves. After about ten minutes of practice and some adjustment of the trucks, he was carving down the street with a big smile on his face. Now he can enjoy skateboarding without me having to find time to drive him to the skatepark plus he’s getting a jump on his snowboarding skills for the winter. I am not a skater but from what I can tell, the board seems well-built for the price.

Title: nice board bad shipping
Review: seems nice enough. the box was all beat up and a small smash in the wood like it wasn’t handled well in shipping but it shouldn’t be a problem. it would be nice if it looked like new out of the box.

Title: Amazing quality for a great price!
Review: Summary:-Great price for the quality of board.-Really fun to ride, it flexes good.-Needs tightening upon getting it, I recommend buying a skate tool with it.-Portable and the 38.5″ board is perfect for someone 5’9″This board is amazing! No sugarcoating it, the board is a great buy for the quality of the board. I’ve had the board for a month now and it is my first longboard. I started learning how to board last semester of college on my friends’ board. I decided that I wanted to invest into a starter board but didn’t want to break the bank. This board is perfect in all the aspects I need it to be. The board is a perfect fit for someone my size; 5’9″ and around 190lbs. It’s perfect for getting to classes and back on a college campus. Really fun, and I recommend this board. This is a great board for people who know they want to get into longboarding but don’t want to break the bank!

Title: Novice skater
Review: I just started to learn how to longboard at 52 years old. I’m 6′-2″ and 240 lbs. This board is perfect for my size. The low sitting profile made it comfortable to keep my balance while learning to kick. My friends that have been skating for years were impressed with the quality of the board.

Review: Great board handles a 200lb rider no problem. trucks are good however wheels and bearings are garbage and would recommend replacing them the moment you get the board.

Title: Excellent Board
Review: After researching many different boards, I finally decided to purchase this one and I am very happy I did so. The aspects of this board that stuck out most to me are the price (for what you get especially now that I have the board), other reviews, and the natural lookIn use, the board has proven to be quite sturdy. I have ridden it approximately 60 miles by now and have had no issues. It has taken several hard hits to the curb and no splintering or cracking is to be seen. The stock bearings are admittedly not incredibly smooth. $20 can get you a great new set of bearings that will match the quality of the rest of the board.Overall, I would highly recommend this board to anyone.

Title: I’m liking it
Review: Tightened the chucks a bit. My first longboard so I’m not exactly sure how loose is the norm but.. Easily adjustable. I ride it a short distance almost every day. In the first week it was a bit.. Creeky. Ibut after it was broken in the sounds worked themselves out. Wish the bearings were a little bit smoother as a good kick doesn’t get me all that far as does others I’ve tried but overall it’s been pretty good to me. Hasn’t chipped or cracked and hasn’t shown any signs that it will.
