Review: This is a temporary review because I’m not able to install the doorknob just yet – waiting on assistance from a friend who has the proper tools. However, I’ve inspected the package contents closely and read over the instructions and trouble-shooting tips carefully. One of my big concerns was “What happens if the battery (or whatever) fails – will I be locked in? Or locked out?” I was happy to see that there’s a failsafe option included for this. Judging by the way everything looks in the package, it seems well-made, sturdy, and attractive. My bigger concern, of course, is reliability and easy of operation – which will be addressed in the update, to come after it’s been installed for a few weeks.I was very happy to see this offered because just a few weeks ago I hired a painter who I THOUGHT was trustworthy and responsible. $2000 in charges on one of my credit cards later, I realized that was NOT the case, and I’ve had quite a bit of anxiety about whether or not he managed to swipe a house key at the same time he was grabbing my credit card. I’m disabled so I’m home most of the time and have interior deadbolts that cannot be opened from the outside, plus I have really great neighbors with cameras and inherently nosy dispositions, so I’m not TOO worried about it all, but I’ll be very happy when this lock is installed and I no longer have to worry about getting new keys to all the people who NEED to have keys, and making sure they’re the only ones who DO have keys!I will get the final review up in a few weeks, as soon as we are able to coordinate our schedules and set aside a day to install several of my recent acquisitions.

Title: Easy to use
Review: I waited a few months to write this review because I wanted to test the lock functionality, and I can confidently say this lock is a great value for the money. The lock functions as advertised and fits my needs perfectly. It was very easy to install, took me about 15 minutes to do, and it is easy to use. It looks fantastic against my red door and it looks very sleek with the matching door knob. I love that you can add users and assign different codes to the users! My kids each have a different code! I 10/10 recommend this smart lock set.

Title: Standard door install is a breeze! Great instruction.
Review: Really cool ! I set this up and tested before install on my desired location. Also popped it into a Uninstalled door just to get a feel how this was going to work . I am happy with it and will proceed soon on the final install. I am wanting to put this on a shipping container door that has the lock bars removed. Drilling the holes through the steel doors is a little nerve racking – as I don’t want to do this if it not going to work correctly , fit and be able to throw long enough to lock 😅. The lock itself is great amd works great in standard door! Setup was easy and the instructions and templates that come with it all are on point! I definitely recommend for any standard doors as intended 100%. I am still working out some details on my shipping container doors however and am likely going to require some fabrication to accept a throw bolt or an extra long throw.. since we are still concidering options for this I haven’t moved forward with creating holes in the door just yet. When I do get it worked out I will post pictures – in case anyone else out there is wondering how do i make my container door open like a regular door or CAN I ? YOU definitely can I am doing it now but locking it at the moment with hasp while i work out the details( biggest issue really is the distance of the deadbolt throw …)Again standard install on your ready doors is very easy .. even in unprepared doors the template and instructions along with doors lock hole saw kit will be straightforward. I had no trouble seting this up and getting it to work on a slab door in my workshop – which is fairly at the edge of the wifi range ! It was working nicley. I did setup and program in the strong wifi zone.
