Review: For your family member that sure could use a happy pick me up of new photos every now and then, this would make a great gift. I honestly am setting this up for an elderly family member to use and load with grandchildren’s pictures. However, I quickly realized this will take a little tech savvy ability to set up. Thus I had to set it all up, which made this take a bit to write a review on, due to the fact I needed to acquire a few components to give an honest opinion, and give it a proper testing. If giving this as a gift the recipient will need to have internet, and or someone to set it up will be handy. (This is not the sort of photo fame you can just hand the average grandma and expect her to know how to set it up, but times are changing.) An SDMMC storage card is not needed, however smart to have or you will find that you can fill the frame’s memory up very quickly! (That card also will serve as back up of your photos and needs to be set up to do so! Much to my dismay I did find it was terribly easy to accidentally factory restore the entire frame without even a second question! YIPES!) The frame runs on android, and when connected to the internet, updates and receives pictures fairly easily. It also displays a time and weather/temp which is nice. But getting the pictures to the frame is a tiny hassle, you can’t just use your typical google or messages to send the pictures. YOU WILL NEED THE FRAMEO APP. An app that will lead you to believe in reviews that it is faulty. The app does use your gallery of photos, and you will need a code from the frame owner. (Something that doesn’t need grandma needing a smart phone to give! The frame gives you a code, and an ability to add friends, just tell the person the code number.) The frame works as a touch screen. It has a speaker, video and sound can be played too, don’t expect music to be blasting, it’s a minor speaker. So not only pictures with captions of “I love you grandma!” But also video wishes can be sent too! With all the reviews on the app aside, honestly using the app was beyond easy just make sure you are up to date on your android and conflict is minimal. Simply pick a photo, add a caption, put a marker over the most important part of the picture, knowing full well cropping does happen. For the price I wish it had more internal memory, however putting in a larger back up SDMMC card would give you that. People need to be mindful when sending large 5 mb size photos that those will add up very quickly and take up memory fast. The picture quality is nice, you can adjust screen brightness easily, and settings are easy to do with touch screen. The one item I do like? You can set a time that the frame will go blank so sleep can be had if it happens to be residing in a bedroom. (Exactly where this will be set up, I was so happy to find that feature.) So long as you are able to handle a bit of setting up, this is a really cool gift to keep family closer. The pleasant surprise of a new photo to greet them can be what many need.

Review: Nice digital picture frame. Thin style only problem I have with it is that there is not much options on the app. You can’t set up a shuffle option or a time limit the app is very basic with no real user settings. Adding pictures is a little annoying when you have to crop the picture you want instead of putting the picture as a whole like other frames. Honestly I wouldn’t recommend this frame until the app or the frame gets an interface that has user settings.

Title: Good sized picture frame
Review: I really enjoy these picture frames that show your pictures. It’s a great way to remember all the good times and interesting things that you have done and seen over the years. Reminders of your family, Christmas, reunions, whatever. It seems that I am always taking pictures but rarely ever look at them. All that has changed with these frames.This one is a good size – I have one that is a bit smaller but I like that this one is bigger. You can hang it on a wall, but then you will have a power cord to deal with, so it’s best to put it on a table somewhere. It is super easy to load your pictures – there is an app that does it through your wifi, so all you do is scroll through your album on your phone and just pick the ones that you want to put on the frame.It can be a little tricky to get certain pictures to center in the frame, but once you see how it works you can modify/edit the picture before you download it to get it to display how you want. That sounds more complicated than it is – what I mean is if you want the frame to show the left side of a picture, edit the picture to be just the left side…then when you download it, that is what you will see.The frame has several settings: brightness, scroll speed, “wipe” style or just go to the next pic, and a night setting so it shuts off at a certain time and then starts again. This way it doesn’t run all night. You can also give your info to another family member or friend so they can add pictures.I think it is an excellent value given the features and the price and definitely recommend it.
