Review: They really did a good job making the feathers iridescent. My hands are big, but I’m able to fit two fingers (index and middle) into the beak to articulate it, plus I can bob (but not turn) the head. The wings have no finger holes to move them from inside.Not a bad price. Can’t wait to use it when I dress up as Death or a wizard for Halloween & Ren Faires.

Title: Mouth hard to move
Review: Super nice puppet. However the mouth can’t really move unless you have the hand size of a small child; or, possibly, freakishly small and narrow hands with no bones in them.

Title: being a bird the head is kinda small. but it is workable
Review: this being my first bird puppet, the head is a bit small for my hands and i wear a medium glove. kids love it, i use it for Sunday School and a ministry. easy to clean and disinfect. i made a device to work the beak out of plastice to deal with the small space to put my fingers to work the beak.

Review: Okay, just kidding with the headline, but I do love ravens. Crows kind of scare me becasue they run in those big packs. Ravens seem like they want to start a conversation. I bought this for my daughter at a toy store (she’s 33) but they only had one, so had to find mine online. I do not use him for a puppet, but rather the hole on the bottom for the hand fits nicely over my bedpost so he sits up there and I swear, out of the corner of my eye, I jump sometmes becasue I think he’s real. Folkmanis makes the BEST puppets by far. His feathers have the sheen of a healthy young bird, but they don’t lay as smoothly as I’d like. Not sure how they’d do that. He’s not really poseable but can be pulled a bit to get him where you want him. The beak is straight and the eyes are proportioned. Very happy with our birds!

Title: Not a Puppet!!!
Review: I love Folkmanis. A fangirl for a very long time. Though this is not a puppet. You can’t control the wings or beak. It’s just oddly inserting your hand into a stuffie. Horrible. I never return toys. I am so bummed out that I have to add something to my to do list to return this non-puppet. This is how much I hate it.
