Title: We Had Problem But It Worked Out!
Review: We ordered this for mounting a trunk to our motorcycle everything was good except for one of the flat metal pieces in the U shaped piece was not welded flush, so that cocked the docking piece over and was out of line so we had to grind some washers down on one side to make it straighten out. So when I told the company about it they gave us a good discount! It was a good price for this item if we hadn’t of had the problem with it. The discount made it better.

Title: Same HD bracket at less than half the cost
Review: I gave the bracket 4 out of 5 stars only because as others have mentioned, it comes with zero instructions.NONE – NADA – NOTHING!You will receive the brackets and bolts wrapped in styrofoam paper. Nothing pretty, just the brackets and bolts, which is all that you really need.I did a little research and found the instructions on Harley’s website. Amazon rules won’t let me post the link here, but if you do a search for the bracket on Harley’s site, you’ll find the instructions. Some of the bolts are a little different, but you’ll get the idea.Someone else mentioned that the rear bushing where you lock on the detachable is made of rubber instead of poly. This is correct, it is rubber. I’m not sure if this will be a problem or not, but if so, I’ve already found the replacement bushing available at J&P for $13. Still less than the HD bracket.Save your money and go with this one …

Review: The quality seems good but took a few minutes to figure out how to attach it. (Looked on Youtube) Chrome is a little thin, be careful when attaching mine peeled a little on the front edge because of the tight fit, Not noticeable when on the bike. The spacers that came with it weren’t going to work for my 2001 FLHT so I had to buy extra S/S washers to get the correct spacing.Overall it works but you’ll have to figure out how to mount it and get the correct spacing
