Title: It works!
Review: Purchased this for my Father-in-law’s hunting camp. Remote area with spotty cell service. This thing works like a charm! Went from roaming the front yard for a bar of service to 4 full bars inside! Well worth the money!

Title: Didn’t change anything
Review: Originally the package didn’t have instructions so I had to contact the seller to get anything and the instructions didn’t help much. I did what it said but didn’t see any improvement. Returned.

Title: This unit is well worth the money.
Review: Tested this out at a remote cabin where you could get intermittent one bar T-Mobile 4G service. The installation isn’t too bad, the largest challenge is mounting the outdoor antenna, but this is why this works and location is critical as cell service is line of sight. Once I got this set up, my one bar 4G service went to 2-3 bars of signal. Not only did my signal level improve, but I was also able to freely move around my property with predictable service.IMO, as long as you install this properly, this unit is well worth the money.

Title: Decent 4G Cell Signal Booster
Review: I have some really weak T-Mobile service at my house. That combined with the fact that my house has plaster wall which seem to function a lot like a Faraday cage so that signals don’t seem to go through our walls very well. Prior to installing the booster, I could begin a call from certain areas inside my house and after about 20 seconds or so, the call quality would start to decrease and I would wind up having to exit the house and have the rest of the conversation in my front yard.I temporarily installed the cell phone booster out of my son’s bedroom window as it was on the second floor and faced the front yard (the side with the strongest signal, the backside of my house faces a hill). On reading the instructions, it noted that the outside antenna (the white triangular piece) should be at least 9 meters from the interior antenna. I ran the cable through his room along the wall and out in to the upstairs hallway to the nearest outlet. On turning on the device, I noticed that I went from one bar of signal to around 2-3 bars of signal. I get 2 bars of signal now in most areas of my house. I have been able to have full length calls from within the house now which is a major improvement. The call quality isn’t perfect, but it is much better than it originally was!One of the things I would like to see if 5G support and a way to mount the internal antenna away from the booster unit itself. Currently, with the included cables, the antenna must be directly attached to the booster unit which limits installation flexibility. What I wanted to do was put the booster unit in a closet and drill a hole through the wall and have only the antenna sticking through, but this would necessitate hooking the antenna up to the booster unit through an extension wire. I could probably find one on Amazon, but it would be nice if they included something for this.

Title: Go from dropped calls to stable signal
Review: We have almost no cell phone service at our home. The signal is so weak that we often drop calls unless the phone is in a certain window and you sit a certain way near it. Any movement can cause a dropped call. This booster gets the antenna up high and pointed to the nearest tower. The amp brings the signal into the house so that we can use our phones anywhere.Without a booster we have no data at all. With no booster to send an SMS I have to type the message, hit send, turn on airplane mode, then turn off airplane mode. As the phone sends a stronger signal to reach a tower, the message sends. If I want to send another message, I repeat. With the booster we can almost use our phones as normal people would.

Title: Solid effort with only marginal results
Review: The booster provided a marginal improvement in our T-Mobile signal, but only marginal. I was expecting a BIG improvement, but that didn’t materialize.Installation was pretty involved. You need to be prepared to mount the outdoor antenna component on the side of your home or on the roof. This could be beyond the skillset or capabilities of many buyers. Oddly, the outdoor antenna is reasonably attractive, whereas the indoor booster component is ugly as a mud fence. The booster looks like something out of an electronics shop, rather than a sleek component that blends into your home decor.Once I got everything hooked up and powered on, I oriented the antenna. Back up on a ladder, ugh. Once the antenna was aimed, I went inside and checked the signal on my phone. 1 intermittent bar of signal improvement. That was a LOT of effort for 1 intermittent bar of improvement. Back to WiFi calling for me. In my experience, this just wasn’t worth the significant install effort. For those living in less rural areas, perhaps you’ll have better results if you’re willing to roll the dice.

Title: Will help you make the most of your signal, but assumes a reasonable signal is available.
Review: If your cell service is not great where you live just due to your location and the absence of a cell tower (or the presence of mountains between you and your local cell tower), this is not going to somehow work miracles. But! If you have access to a spot that gets reasonable service, this extender will take what you give it to work with and work with it, re-broadcasting the signal into your chosen space and making it so you can have a minimum of “can you hear me???” breaks in your amazing conversations. There is a reasonably clear setup. Not an easy one, but the instructions and rules set forth therein make sense, so you really need to make this work for your space. The results are actually quite good – if you didn’t get great service in one of your inner rooms, this will amplify the available signal to that spot. Again – you need that available signal for the thing to work with. The pieces to this are fairly large and not in any way unobtrusive, but this is a small price to pay for improved mobile service in your home.
