Review: One could debate the relative merits of soft and hard cases. I prefer soft cases because they usually offer more padding, and they conform more readily to a pack and whatever else is in it. Plus, because they snug around the camera, they consume less pack space.There’s not much padding on the interior of this case, so if the case is dropped the camera inside will probably get a heck of a jolt, but the hard exterior will prevent any damage to the exterior of the camera.I like the repositionable velcro divider, which snugs the camera, minimizing any shaking around inside the hard shell that it might otherwise do. It also provides a spot behind it for cords, straps and/or extra batteries. Out in the field, I prefer not to carry cords, and I don’t use straps, so this case is bigger than I would actually prefer.I didn’t order it to fit one of the designated cameras, but I measured my Kodak bridge super-zoom camera carefully before ordering, and this case fits it exactly like the camera depicted on the Amazon page.I knew what I was ordering, and this case entirely met my expectations.
