Title: Cassette, not CD or 8-track tape. What were you thinking?
Review: The Bike Cassette Lockring Tool by the LIGHUFEIC Store came today. Actually, a set of 4, (all the same) not that I’m complaining at their price. I will likely lose at least 1, and misplace another that I’ll eventually find later. It’s also nice to have several in case one slips off and gets damaged. You could also give one to your riding buddy / handy neighbor who helps you fix flats. They’re OK, will usually be sufficient, and tonight used one to remove the tight cassette lock ring from the rear wheel of my 2000 Specialized Hard Rock Comp. (It’s currently Winter time, so my bikes are inside and sleep by me, always.) I do however wish it had a center post (that I believe I saw on another design, to keep it straight, although maybe I’m thinking of a different tool?) Given a cassette’s tightness, it could also be slightly improved by making it fit more precisely, longer, and a wider wrench head or even better, socket-driven would give each use a much higher percentage of success the first time. Of course, to remove your cassette lock ring, besides this tool and a wrench (I used a big adjustable one), you’ll also need a chain whip, to give opposing force in the opposite direction. Do your hands a favor and wear protective gloves. While waiting for this tool to arrive, I took the opportunity to clean my wheel and cassette with a safe degreaser like Simple Green- and will put some Tri-Flo light oil back on it later.- I just watched a Park Tool video on their similar FR-5.2 Cassette Lockring Tool. Wish I had seen it earlier, as they appear to have the wheel sitting flat in a vice or something, with a QR Skewer coming out of the wheel, then the FR-5.2 tool, then a washer and QR nut tightened, to keep the tool firmly in place while using it.

Title: They are all 4 the same size
Review: I thought this was a set of 4 different sizes, they are all the same, luckily it was the correct size I needed and the tool worked, I would have ordered only one though, not 4.
