Title: Great roof snow rake for fresh snow
Review: I bought 3 different snow rakes for 2 houses, and compared them. They all are a little different, so it depends on your needs. We get around 300″ of snow a year, but roofs are made for these snow loads, really only needing help on exceptionally huge snowfall years, in places where ice dams form, or places where snow slowly creeps off and makes an icy mess below. I use this one to get lots of fresh snow off most of the roof. The nylon chute sends the snow down off the roof after the metal part cuts it. I mostly use this on a single story roof, but have used it on a 2 story one occasionally. Just remember that it can’t really work on hardened snow, and you will probably bend the light metal if you try to push it too hard. A steel shovel is about the only thing that gets through that stuff, but that also would weigh too much to have on a 20 foot pole.

Title: Not built like the good old days
Review: I just had my first opportunity to try the new tool, and it worked great! Not sure how it will hold up. It is not as sturdy as my previous one, but time will tell. If It continues to hold and all the parts stay working, I will change the rating to reflect.

Title: Looks Promising But Parts That You Assemble Do NOT Align Properly
Review: I just bought this product, and it looks promising, but there are issues with assembling the blade to the curved-pole head. Namely, the support braces that secure the blade to the curved pole head do NOT align properly to use the short screws provided for assembly. The angle at which each support brace bends at the end to allow each one to attach to the blade and to the pole is NOT sufficient to allow the ends of the blades to lay flat on the pole-and-blade where you insert screws to secure them. The support braces are a little too short. The screws you use to attach them are also too short to receive the nut that goes on these screws. I had to use longer screws, washers and nuts and secure the support braces in a way that forced the screw holes to align well enough with the pole and blade to create a secure attachment. The long screws work, but they are crooked, because of the misalignment. In other words, the parts were not machined precisely enough to attach with the hardware included. Be prepared to use a couple of longer screws. Otherwise, the product looks like it will work.

Title: Better than expected
Review: I’ll admit I was a little nervous buying this as it seemed to be on the inexpensive side as far as roof rakes go but I am absolutely happy with it. It assembled easily with 3 bolts on the shovel side and it came with the Allen wrench and nut wrench. It is very lightweight but still sturdy enough to do it’s job. I have mobility issues and was concerned about the weight and length as I kind of need to use only one arm and I was able to handle this easily. If you don’t abuse this,it should definitely last you awhile. 4.8 stars and highly recommended for the price and ease of use.

Title: Very Well Made, Worked Great !!
Review: I just used this for the first time on my roof which had 3 foot of snow upon it. This cut thru the snow with no problem, it is very well made, sharp, easy to work with, and the extensions are easy to remove or put on depending on how high you go up on the roof to get the snow off. I was very impressed with this. Very durable. Light weight and well constructed. I would definitely recommend.

Title: Easy assembly and works great
Review: I have used this on three style roofs in the Northeast and it is fantastic. It’s long and can be awkward when you first try using it. Overall light weight, can remove up to 8” or so of snow with ease. The only thing is to make sure you are careful on which way you use it because the bolts have to be on the top of the cover to not scratch or puncture your roof. My little trick is to coat it seasonally with water repellant and it will save your floors after you’re done using it because most of the water will roll right off of it!
