Review: THINGS TO KEEP IN MIND:This does not come with batteries or light bulbs.You will need an A23 battery for the remote.You will need an AAA for the wall mountYou will need e26 light bulbs, but ST19 fit just fine (what we used)Now, onto the review:If you have installed fans before, this may be a cake walk for you. For those of us who have never installed a fan, it was… difficult to say the least. The directions could not be followed in order due to awkward installation and screw placement. So if you do not have the patience (in our case stubborn persistence) to figure it out, do not attempt this fan.With that aside, I purchased this fan on sale/used. I was not expecting much, but quality is solid. This is a well built fan. Better than the cheap ugly ones I saw at various large box stores for 3x the price. Despite it being “used” it came with everything in tact and nothing missing, so win win for us!This fan is more beautiful than any other fan I saw in those large box stores. It is exactly what I was looking for and what I was not finding.This fan is quiet. If it was not for the feel of the air flow from the fan running, we would not know it was on. Which is great since we have it in our living room and would prefer a fan not competing with our tv.I am happy I took the chance on this despite the negative reviews regarding installation.

Review: I initially didnt think this fan would look good in our bedroom. It looks to be for outdoors. But it compliments the space well. And it works well. Instructions were blah. But hubby knew how to put it together just fine.

Title: Damaged and glass broken
Review: This fan arrived damaged and one light globe broken. I also didn’t like the fan blades, which looked cheap and plasticky and the color was a lot darker than it appeared online. The fan also did not come with the required light bulbs. Not happy with this at all. It will be going back.

Title: Pretty But a Headache, Description Lacks Key Details
Review: I researched this fan on every site possible before buying two of them, so please read below before buying because these are things I wish had known first.I paid $20 more for the “black” fan listing than the “brown” listing for this same fan on Amazon, and they look the exact same. Both are dark bronze. However, I used my old black downrod and you cannot tell much of a difference unless you are looking for it. Just know it’s not a true black (pics attached).This fan is gorgeous and looks more expensive than its price. It’s hard to find a nice looking palm fan with open bulb holders, so this price is great, but it became a $375 fan after paying my installer two hours to assemble and hang it. A typical fan takes an hour to assemble and hang, but this one took double due to the below scenarios. It’s a heavy box, so you do not want to return it in the mail unless absolutely necessary.Few issues/tips:- This fan only comes with about 5-6” of wire. Fans typically come with a lot of wire so you can use them in longer down rods. My installer had never seen a fan like this, so he bought extra wire and fused it together to run through my 36” down rod. I’m not sure many people know how to do this, so beware.- The listing is deceiving because it mentions using this fan with a 5 or 10 inch down rod, but I did not have enough wire for 10 inches.- The 5 bulb placeholders only accept 25w bulbs each (not mentioned in the description). However, if you use LED, you can add brighter bulbs and won’t be limited to 25w equivalent. I did not know this previously; my installer said with LED, you can go brighter with lumens than incandescent max wattages.- The back of the blades are white, so the fan needs to hang high to avoid seeing them.The remote works nicely, and we also had it programmed with our builder light switch instead of using the wall mount provided for a cleaner look. We can flip the light switch to turn on the last programmed light/fan speed settings automatically then adjust settings when needed with the remote.The fan is quiet on all settings.You will need one A23 battery for the remote (I found a two pack of A23 batteries at our local hardware store, but definitely not standard).Overall, I love the look of the fan, but I would only buy it again if you plan to keep it in a 6” or shorter down rod.
