Title: Best I’ve ever used! Picks up Ka at loooong distance
Review: Best radar detector I’ve ever used. I did have to disable k band due to lane keep assist triggering it constantly but 99.9% of radars utilize Ka band so it doesn’t affect performance. Speed camera and red light camera alerts work well using its built in gps. 10/10 would definitely recommend.

Title: Green line on screen
Review: I have used a Uniden R3 for the last 7 years, it still works fine and has been moved between multiple cars. I decided to upgrade and give my R3 to a friend that didn’t have a radar detector. Received this last night, hung it on the fixed mirror mount and plugged it in. All was great for the hour of driving I did. Went to go get dinner today (third power up) and now it has this green line in the screen. It hasn’t moved or been touched since last night so I don’t know what would have caused this. Amazon only offers a return and not a replacement so I’ll have to go without for a month while waiting to get my money back so I can order another one.

Title: Almost TOO good!
Review: I recently upgraded from the R7 to the R8 (gave the R7 to my daughter, it’s still an AMAZING detector). If anything, the R8 is almost TOO good! All the features I loved from the R7 are still here, or are improved. The auto mute memory for K band is a MUST have feature if you don’t want your detector driving you CRAZY. And the signal arrows are also extremely useful for figuring out where cops tend to hide and run radar.So why TOO good? Well the R8 has even better range than the already incredible R7, so I get Ka band hits sometimes from 1-3 MILES away! I am still learning to trust the signal strength meter, because getting a Ka band hit, slowing down, and then reaching the source MINUTES later is impressive, but also means I slowed down WAY earlier than I had to!This detector is a BEAST!

Review: The best radar in a world i can say. Super long range, perfect accuracy, catching speed camera almost a 1km away from you. Doesn’t give you a false alerts if you turn off K band. Already saved me more money then the price of this radar. Only buy this radar and never go with Redline 360c.

Review: The R8 is a top tier detector. It’s a little more chatty then the Escort 360c redline. However price point reflects that. You are able to adjust it well enough that it keeps fairly quiet. You can use it with a couple of apps and that makes it even better. If your an enthusiastic users It’s for you. If you want set it and forget it with less false alerts look to the Escort 360c redline, but get your wallet out.

Review: This is a really good radar detector, the range is really good, it’s worth the price if your area cops run radar all the time, where I live cops don’t usually run radar except unmarked vehicles. I’d do some research on what the cops use in your area before buying, packaging, quality and build is very good.
