Title: Great fun and gorgeous designs!
Review: I bought this book last year for my 11 year old. This year, with quarantine, we were able to really try out the many designs in this book. It was great fun and they are so beautiful! Some are pretty difficult and I had a hard time, but luckily my 16year old is highly artistic and helped me out. I would not recommend for young children. I think it would be too difficult to follow.

Title: Incredible! Loved this book.
Review: Highly recommend! The patterns are amazing and easy to draw into your paper once you’ve folded it properly into a triangle. Make sure you have sharp scissors to cut the pattern out perfectly. This kept me entertained for hours whilst watching Christmas movies. Each pattern took about 10 minutes to do.

Title: A Snowflake for Every Occasion
Review: What a fun book! I can see snowflakes hanging above a reading circle at school. The snowflakes would match a book theme.I’m definitely making the Pilgrim snowflake for Thanksgiving 2024. And several for the 4th of July in 2025.A great book for an older child. However, some designs may require an adult supervision.

Title: 5 stars on the book, but don’t get the Kindle version
Review: First let me say that this review is specifically of the Kindle edition.I’d been eyeing this book for awhile now, but couldn’t quite justify the price in my extremely limited budget. Then I noticed that they had the Kindle edition avilable for much a price I could make work ($3.82 when I purchased). So I bought it.The book itself deserves 5 stars. The instructions are easy to understand, the designs are beautiful. It is very well done.Unfortunately, on my 3rd generation Kindle, it just doesn’t display well. The diagrams for the instructions are all lumped in at the end. If text and diagrams had to be on seperate “pages” I wish they could have at least been interspersed so I didn’t have to jump back and forth between locations.Also, I didn’t think to take into account that the patterns (which are designed for standard 8 1/2 x 11 paper) would be smaller on my Kindle screen. So there’s some size adjusting you need to do in order to make them work with regular paper, and it’s rather a pain. Plus getting to where you can copy the pattern onto the paper (unless you just want to eyeball the design) is also difficult. Yes, this is partly my fault for not thinking of it before purchasing, but it would have been nice to see the kindle pages adjusted. After all, they changed the instruction diagrams for the Kindle.Having not tried the new Kindles, I don’t know how well they handle graphics. Perhaps this book would display better on the Kindle Fire or the new Kindle Touch.Bottom line, it is well worth the extra money for the paperback book: Snowflakes: Creative Paper Cutouts. It just doesn’t translate to the Kindle well.

Title: I’m really looking forward to trying these!
Review: Due to other reviews, I almost passed this one up and I’m sure glad I didn’t! I can see where some may look at the patterns and find them difficult to attempt. If you have an artistic eye, you won’t be intimidated by the patterns. My husband would find them impossible but he is very analytical and not at all artistic. So today for $.99, it is money well spent! 🙂

Title: Best snowflake book
Review: This is a great book. Every snowflake that I make from it people think I’m some sort of artistic genius! NOT. The snowflakes are beautiful. So nice that instead of making new ones each year, I’ve taken to laminating them in clear plastic so that I can use them yr to yr. Make nice package toppers if done in a smaller size. Paper folding technique can be difficult to ‘get’ but once you do, its magical!
