Review: Fast shipping, great flick & sfx. This movie was decades ahead of its time (probably why it never really made it as a hit) by talking about dimensional subjects. Really wish this streamed but oh well, at least I got it on disc.

Review: The fact that this movie even got made is a miracle. It’s not perfect, but you have to realise how the US Gov’t “intelligence” services (which we fund w/ our taxes) tried amazing disinformation, threats and lies to keep not only the honest folks of Roswell doubting their sanity, but all of America as well. Kyle Mac does a really fine job as Jesse Marcel who had to ‘smile and lie’ and at the same time either let others think he was crazy (couldn’t tell the difference from indestructible unearthly ‘living’ metals from a weather balloon!?) or a big fat liar (collected boxes of this amazing stuff, then had to deny it). And the man had attained the rank of Major at the world’s (then) ONLY heavy Bomb Army Air Force base in the world! The fine supporting cast via flashbacks add drama and accuracy to all of what the authors had for testimony…at that time. Since the July ’47 Roswell was the final straw for the government and the oil industry- the covering up of Truth that we have galactic neighbors (who are smarter than us, but haven’t destroyed us!), the CIA, DIA, NSA were all created to smother ALL future UFO sightings and truth. Go read some of the books on this as well as the other coverups. Welcome to the Future. And go see […] too. Mindblowing, the covering up is still going on! You kids under 40 (ha,ha!) have to expose this now.

Review: I enjoyed this well shot and interesting film. It re-created, visually, many of the controversial facts surrounding the alleged crash of a UFO in the late 1940’s. Well done all around.

Title: Excellent and moving story
Review: This is an account of the Roswell incident which took place in the New Mexico desert in 1947. Something crashed there, and was discovered by a no-nonsense rancher, Mac Brazel. At first a nearby US Army base declared openly that they had found a crashed flying saucer, but later (presumably when the government or intelligence people got hold of the story) they changed their story and announced that their very experienced staff had mistaken a ‘weather baloon’ for a spaceship!The story is told through the eyes of the witness to the event, and although their stories don’t always agree, it is obvious that there is a kernel of truth there, and that something wonderful and strange did happen. Unfortunately, for whatever reason the powers that be chose to cover up the truth of the incident.All of the actors do a sterling job of representing real people, caught up in events that overwhelm them, both emotionally and intellectually. It is an extraordinarily moving film, and just the viewer wondering how it could all continue to be swept under the table for fifty years and more.

Review: Excellent. Only an idiot would confuse a weather balloon. Why would the army send a balloon to Wight-Patterson field?Almost all residents in New Mexico could identify a balloon. Don’t exist? View the Nimitz Encounter. They ain’t from Kansas.

Title: A Life of its own
Review: Regardless what anyone thinks about aliens or their mode of transportation the entire concept has taken on a life of its own. Some of these concepts are very amusing as individuals try to use the controversy to push their personal philosophy on others. Some of my favorites are:They’re here to punish us for throwing away aluminum cans and not recycling.They are bad, evil etc.They are good, nice, kind etc.They see us as a threat to the universe and want to exterminate us.We’re their food.They want to mate with us because…They want to make us their slaves.As long as there is money to be made there will be movies about UFOs and aliens.

Review: On a recent visit to the land of enchantment (New Mexico) we called in at the UFO museum in Roswell… well called in is a bit of a stretch.. drove a couple of hundred miles each way is perhaps more accurate. The museum was extremely interesting, focusing on the 1947 Roswell incident. Instead of a sensationalised account or fanciful tales we were treated to a timeline of events supported by signed and witnessed affidavits from key people involved. Since many of these were Personnel from the local B29 air base or local government officials this was very impressive.The museum had a display linked to the film “Roswell” and gave the impression it was well made so we resolved to track it down when we got home. We were amazed to find that it was only available as a VHS tape – it never seems to have been released on DVD… and having now watched the film we are even more surprised- it is a very worthy effort.I won’t give the story away (even if most folk know the basics). Suffice to say it is told in a reflective, retrospective way. The main character is at a squadron reunion and we are shown the events that occurred several years before through his discussions with colleagues. Gradually the Official story of the debris being from a weather balloon is stripped away and what “really” happened emerges. Dont expect CGI scenes of UFO’s and crashes or much in the way of aliens. Think of it more as a thriller.Thoroughly enjoyable.

Review: Please be aware that this item is not the feature film starring Kyle McLachlan and Martin Sheen as shown on the Amazon ‘blurb’. It is the documentary style film with lots of eye witness ‘talking heads’ and the fake alien autopsy footage. The film is Ok as long as it is what you wanted to order. If you want the feature film look elsewhere to avoid doing what I did and ordering the wrong thing!
