Title: From and old DasKeyboard user – these are great.
Review: I’ve been a die-hard DasKeyboard user since their first generation keyboard, back in the late 90s or early 2000s. I’ve purchased a dozen of them over the years. I’ve been carrying one of their compact models in my laptop bag since the post-pretendemic “back to the office” push, and many of the keys have become sticky, typing multiple characters for every press, and seem to be immune to cleaning, even with high-pressure air. Add to this the fact that they switched away from using hinged-feet for angle control to using glue-on silicone (which detached in the first year) and a magnet-attached plastic ruler as a foot, and the whole design was just hinky. I reached out to them for support, and they wouldn’t help. Another iconic brand value-engineered out of existence.I would never have looked at other keyboards if DasKeyboard had been responsive to my issues, but I simply could not justify spending another $200 (plus blank keycaps) for the same keyboard that I had just picked up a couple of years earlier. When I got the MageGee compact for $27, my expectations were very low. I had never used these non-cherry key switches before, and had no idea what the responsiveness or break-away sensitivity would be like. I was ready to be disappointed, but damn, this keyboard is great! Its durability for coding and command-line operational work will be tested in the coming years (I’m hard on my keyboards), but at first blush, this is a simply excellent replacement for my old DKs, and at 1/8 the price! It’s got 2 sets of flip out feet for 3 possible height settings, it’s VERY compact, and it has the sharpness that I require from a mechanical keyboard.I’d love it if replacement keycap sets were available (especially some blank ones), but I’m otherwise pretty damned pleased.

Title: not too shabby
Review: So this is a cheap keyboard, my expectations were not high. It comes with a keycap puller which is nice. The caps come off pretty easy, they include extra caps of different color so I was able to swap them out to match the image. I really like the color combos. Aesthetically speaking it looks sharp. For such a cheap keyboard, the backlights are nice, however, the different color keycaps mute the backlight depending on the color of the caps. Some allow more/less light to shine through. Typing experience is “ok” they are mechanical but the switches are not hot swappable. The action is not bad, but I’m not a huge fan either. I wanted to take the keyboard apart to see if I could play with the insulation and damping but it seems like the screws holding it together are all under the key caps so you’d have to remove a bunch of them to get it apart which I’m just not terribly inclined to do it. The sound is a bit hollow, “thocky” or “creamy” this is not. However, it’s mechanical, I can type very fast, overall I like the feel and for the money? I mean… It came with a decent cord, it types, and it does keyboard things. You really can’t complain. Now having said all that this is a 65% I think? I am going to use it in a very small space so size is great, I love it, but… I miss a legit F-row of keys. I don’t care for this layout. I will get a larger keyboard next time. This is a budget keyboard, switches are not hot swappable, it has decent heft, 2 levels of rear risers, for the cost, really, it’s a decent option if you like this size/format of keyboard. It’s really small.***Recently I saw a question from someone who bought this keyboard, asking about alt+0224 type key combos*** Since I wasn’t with the keyboard I couldn’t answer but now I can’t find the email. I suspect that because the top row of keys is combined with the F-keys that in order to make the ascii type combos you will need alt+FN+0224 or whatever the 4 digit combo is that you’re after. See if that works. Since the user didn’t post which one he was trying to create I couldn’t try it myself but I suspect this will get you there.

Title: Works perfectly…just too small in my opinion
Review: It is a very nice keyboard, works perfectly. The only issue I had was that the keyboard was very small, like DRASTICALLY smaller than most keyboards. It is probably my fault for not paying attention to the measurements listed, but it was just to small for me to type and play games comfortably. It should work great for people with small hands though!

Title: Fantastic keyboard at a fantastic price.
Review: I’m not a keyboard enthusiast. I just wanted one that wasn’t full size. I wanted it to be a bit clickier and not just a crappy computer lab keyboard. It delivers that and at a great price. Colors look great, lighting is great. The feel and location of the keys took me a second to get used to but now I’m totally fine. It took about 3 days to adjust to this coming from my MacBook keyboard. I’ll warn you, it is in fact a clicky keyboard. You could annoy someone who is in your area. That said it’s also not the loudest clicky keyboard I’ve heard. It’s fine in a room but I wouldn’t take it to a library.

Review: As a Prime member I received the item the next day and it didn’t disappoint considering I paid just under AUD$38.Pros:- Pretty solid build, all in all- Blue switches have good feedback and are clicky just as I expected- Small, so little desk space required providing more mouse pad coverage- Backlit and has multile modes including reactive- Comes with extra keys and a tool to swap them around easilyCons:- The orange keys are thicker as shown in the photos which caused my A and W to get stuck when I pressed down too hard- The R key on mine sometimes doesn’t respond so I need to spam it when I reload- My push to talk is the ` symbol which requires me to press fn esc so I had to change my binding to caps lock.Overall it’s a great KB for the price I paid and I use it over my Razer Blackwidow V4 PRO for gaming since it’s much smaller and I never hit it with my mouse when I flick like I do sometimes when using the Blackwidow V4 PRO.

Review: A delightful, well-made, tactile keyboard. Incredible value. Backlight is tasteful and the keys even light up more when you press on them! I would’ve never guessed how inexpensive it is given the fantastic quality.Do note: this is a VERY loud keyboard. I enjoy loud keyboards and was looking for one myself, but this one took me a couple of weeks to get used to. I would dock one star for the volume but given the perfection otherwise and the inexpensive price, it doesn’t seem fair to. If you don’t like LOUD keyboards, don’t get this one!
