Title: Game changer!
Review: I’ve installed many of these and half four of these set ups controlling different lights in my house. I don’t know how long these have been out for but as an electrician, the only way to achieve the function of these would be to run lots of 14–3 Romax which most times is not possible but more importantly much more expensive to the customer. This is probably one of the most important devices to have come out for lighting, in my opinion anyway. There is virtually no limits to switching lights from anywhere now. Lutron is a great brand and I have never run across any lighting incompatibilities with this brand. I’ve never installed one and had an issue with it, works every time. I do recommend an electrician install it for you, wiring is not a hobby and while it may look simple, there are lots of things good electricians look for in the switch box when they are installing devices like this and others. Anyway, highly recommend this and so glad to have found this a few few years back.

Title: No more running Romex for an additional wall switch
Review: Like many here, I have purchased this item on Amazon multiple times! A great way to make a single circuit into a 3-way, 4-way and so on. I even ventured this past installation and used this to replace a 4-way traditional switch that had a bad internal connection problem. Thru Lutron’s instructions, I was able to keep 1 of the existing 3-way switches, replaced the other 3-way with the enclosed PD-5ANS Smart Switch and replaced the 4-way switch (that was in the middle) with the enclosed PICO switch. Problem solved. I even added another PICO switch to make turning the lights ON and OFF easier in this large room. NOTE – the 5AMP load warning. And that is for LED lighting. It is even less if you are using this to control motors (ceiling fans, etc.) Lastly, Lutron makes a more robust version of this – that will handle 6 amps. Look for the PD-6ANS

Title: Simple solid smart switch solution.
Review: This brand is known for its reliable high quality smart home solutions and this no frills wireless smart switch continues in that tradition. Simple to install, but keep in mind this switch will require a neutral wire connection inside your electrical box. Everything comes hardwired to the switch and pre-labeled, so no j-hooks or screw terminals to worry about, just connect the wires to their corresponding lines in the electrical box, line, neutral, load, ground, using the included wire nuts or your preferred electrical connectors. It is a bit wide and fills your electrical box but there’s still room to place the wires behind. A snap on wall plate is a nice design hiding the mounting screws behind it. Set up is easy, provided you already have a Caseta hub on your network, as this unit does not come with one. Once power is turned back onto the circuit, just select + Add Device in the settings and the app automatically finds and sets up the switch to the network. Once named it works perfectly with Alexa or Google Home, I don’t have Apple Homekit to test that function. There is no dimmer on this switch, just on or off. The physical button is near silent, and toggling power in the app is completely silent, perfect to avoid disturbing sleeping family members. Most important, while there are a lot of other smart switches out there, it’s important to choose a UL listed device like this one when dealing with the wiring in your walls.

Review: This product is exactly what I was looking for. I installed it in about 20 minutes. You do not need to buy anything else for this switch to work. Install switch in existing electrical box and program the remote. So much easier than running wires and another switch. Remote can be mounted anywhere you want. Quality if the product is excellent.

Review: Initially I installed this switch and it just worked. However after a month, the product stopped working and wouldn’t pair with the app anymore. I called Caseta’s customer support and they were amazing, they promptly sent me out another unit that hasn’t had any issues. The product itself works reliably and is responsive in my HomeKit home
