Customers say
Customers find the opening tool works well for most small cases and is great for repairing laptops, with one customer noting it performs better than regular screwdrivers. The tool receives positive feedback for its scratch resistance, with one customer mentioning it doesn’t mar or scratch the covering. However, durability is a concern as customers report it breaks easily and is too flimsy for certain devices like the 7th generation iPod. Customers disagree on the value for money and size, with some finding it too short.

Title: Battery Compartments
Review: Outstanding for freeing batteries from battery compartment on gadgets. Example: 8 batteries in GardePro trail camera. Otherwise, damage battery with knife or metal. PS – GardePro needs constant voltage batteries – Kratax or Tenavolt

Title: Impressive Performance with Durable Nylon Construction!
Review: I can’t emphasize enough how crucial nylon is for prying tools, and these tools have nailed it!Despite some complaints in other reviews about durability, I’ve personally found these tools to have outstanding performance. Having used inexpensive spudgers before, I appreciate the variety of edges these offer, and they’ve proven to be surpringly sturdy.Highly recommended for anyone in need of reliable prying tools for small electronics!

Title: Won’t scratch or mark the cover…
Review: I’m sure it’s suppose to do what it says, but I am still having no luck in removing the cover off my Tab, sure there are a lot of video’s out there but I can’t seem to get the cover off mine. Other than that it does not mar or scratch the covering on the back of the Tab. which is great if I can get it opened.5/28 Update – I was finally able to get the cover of the Tab open, I broke another tool, but finally got it open. Still a great tool to use on these operations.

Title: Durable – not a single-use item.
Review: Similar pry tools I’ve used have tended to break during the first use. I’ve used one of these ones a few times now, and it is still in great condition. I am very happy with this purchase.

Title: You get less than what you pay for (cheap but useless)
Review: Sh*t does not work. I’ve used a friend’s similar tool on my phone without a problem, but this one does not sufficiently wedge into the gap between the two pieces of the phone cover for it to open up. Rather, it just leaves plastic (nylon?) “dust”…some of which, in all likelihood, will settle into the gap. A sturdier tool does not get eaten away by a single use like that. Not to mention that it does.not.work.(!)It’s apparently worked for other people according to reviews, so I’m open to the possibility that it’s a quality control issue. Due to the nonnegligible amount of “dust”, I’m really not inclined to experiment with all 5 (as opposed to 3 already) pieces that came in the pack.

Title: Perfect for opening difficult battery compartment door
Review: My acoustic bass guitar has an extremely challenging battery compartment door. I was marring the plastic edge of the door with a precision screw driver every time I had to change the battery. This tool is perfect in size and tip angle. Now I just depress the locking clip and slip this under the lip of the door and it opens.
