Title: I really enjoyed the 2000 movie ”Hollow Man” starring Elisabeth Shue
Review: I watched Total Recall and I really enjoyed it but before I watched Total Recall I have seen Hollow Man which I really enjoyed watching as well. Made in 2000 movie ”Hollow Man” starring Elisabeth Shue, Kevin Bacon,& Josh Brolin is about a scientist who renders himself invisible and goes psychotic . The movie was adapted from the Invisible Man a story by H.G. Wells and had great characters especially the main three, a good storyline, and spectacular special & visual effects on making Kevin Bacon invisible. I didn’t watch hollow man when it came out in 2000 because I was two years old so I didn’t remember so much until I watched a couple years later. Besides, this is considered one of my favorite Kevin Bacon Movies along with ”Wild Things”, ”Flatliners”, ”A Few Good Men”, ”Mystic River”, and of course Footloose. Other than that I have to give Hollow Man 3.5/4 . “Its amazing what you could do when you don’t have to look at yourself in the mirror anymore! “

Title: Hollow Man, An H.G. Wells Retread.
Review: First, you have to be a book reader and a fan of H.G. Wells to appreciate this film as well as the original 1933 “The Invisible Man” movie with the great Claude Rains and sweetheart Gloria Stuart. The main character (Rains) goes insane after fooling around with, well, a drug. It makes him invisible…and dangerous.If there’s a take on sexuality in “Hollow Man” with Kevin Bacon & Elisabeth Shue it’s a Paul Verhoeven idea but not a far fetched throw from what could happen if a person can’t be seen.My take: whiners and criers shouldn’t let their kids see this film and parents that truly care should educate and show both films and trot forth the great book. Lastly, enjoy! It’s ok. Trust that you child knows the distinction. And they do…

Review: This is a brilliant sci-fi movie very well made by Paul Verhoeven the awesome director of other cult classics like Robocop, Total recal and Basic instinct. Hollow man has a great story full of very cool visual effects, the film is very violent and gory, the directors cut version is now about 8mins longer than the DVD versions with all the previously unseen deleated scenes put back in like the rape scene (with Rhona Mitra) certainly worth the price as the Blu-ray version has an awesome picture quality. worthy of having in the collection.

Review: J’aurais préféré du DTS HD au lieu du True HD même si cela reste bon quand même dans l’ensemble. Là où je dois dire qu’il y a une belle restauration c’est au niveau de l’image qui est éclatante. Les gros plans sont fabuleux c’est vraiment beau. Côté film, ici c’est la version Director’s Cut que je n’avais jamais vu et en effet il y a une légère différence par rapport à la version cinéma. Il doit y avoir 3 minutes en +. Rien à redire sur ce film qui est juste parfait au niveau des détails avec une qualité de son largement mieux que du Dolby Digital. Profitez de cette belle séance cinéma inédite ! 📽🖥
