Title: The bronze is not bronze
Review: This item came well packaged, on time, and was very easy to assemble once you managed to get it out of all the Styrofoam. It is sturdy enough and tall enough to be effective. However, I am very disappointed that the lamp is not bronze as listed. It is a dark, dull brown. The beige shades turn a goldish color when the lamp is turned on. I used a A-19 LED soft white bulb. Because there is no way to repackage it, I can’t return the set which is even more disappointing. Other than the color problem for me (not a fan of gold and dull brown tones), the lamps are good value for the money, the off/on switches work well, and it provides enough light with the 60 watt bulbs. I was going to rate it 3 stars but aside from personal taste for me it doesn’t deserve it. The 4 star rating is due to the dull brown rather than bronze.

Title: Better than pictured
Review: The solid black-shaded lamps are quite well-packaged and very easy to put together. The pieces screw together into themselves and are not wobbly – feel very sturdy. The thick, flat, fabric-covered cord feels like it won’t wear out/crack like the standard plastic ones. The base is heavy (quality) – which means there’s no worry about tipping the lamp over when turning it on or off. The pull chains are excellent and don’t cling-clang the center pole when released. The light is contained inside the shade – it only shines down, not up or through the shade.I love the way they look and I feel they are perfect for the bedroom when I’m not yet ready for the overhead light in the wee hours. They are masculine and classy when done right, so he loves them, too.

Title: Great Mid-Century Vibe
Review: Purchased as a bedroom nightstand lamp as it goes with our mid-century modern look. It compliments everything wonderfully. Keep in mind, this does not throw off a lot of light so if you wanted a lamp to brighten up your room, this is not it. Think of it more as a reading light. Very easy to put together, came well packaged.

Title: Looks cheap
Review: This lamp arrived defective. The shade, which is not moveable, was installed backwards so that the seam was in the front of the lamp. Not so attractive. Also, the shade isn’t moveable so if you need to replace it in the future, you can’t. It looks cheap in that the “faux marble” appears to be just paper glued over an inexpensive round box. Also, it doesn’t come with a bulb and requires a specialty bulb. Otherwise, it’s kinda cute and has one awesome feature: a continuous dimmable light (once you find the right bulb) which is hard to find in a lamp. Another good feature is the switch is easily reached: it’s very inconvenient to be reading a book in bed and have to search for the switch on the cord, this one is right on the base of the lamp. I ended up returning it. It’s an item that should probably cost half of it’s current price.

Title: Sturdy lamp
Review: I have 4 cats and they knock over everything. I love this lamp. The bottom is heavy so that the cats can’t knock it over as easily. The lamp is small enough to be put on a 12″x 10″ table. With the old twist knob can use new technology. I never have to enter my home in the dark. I’m able to plug it into a timer that turns it off and on. I can tell Alexa (with a technology plug) to turn on and off the lamp.

Title: Nice lamp packed in too much styrofoam
Review: These lamps are great, especially if you only want downward angles lighting. But they ship inside boxes that are packed to the brim with brittle, non-biodegradable, styrofoam. Oodles and oodles of styrofoam. It practically sprays your home with it when you unpack these lamps. WHY!? So many other packing materials exist that aren’t ~THE WORST~ for the environment. I guess it’s probably too much to expect that a design team most famous for having a metric ton of offspring would think about things like the planet and its future but the mess that crap makes alone should have been enough for them to redesign the packaging.

Review: Lovely lights, it fits my decor extremely well. The only problem I encountered is that one of them is not straight. It is a little slanted. I put it furthest away from the door so it wouldn’t be noticed but that and a few scratches on them are the only unfortunate parts.
