Title: Terrible instructions, decent product
Review: After many, many, many attempts to get it to pair with my phone it finally worked. I legit have no idea what was going on but it works now.Finger print scanner works good just make sure that when you scan your print you do it from a position you’d be in if you were actively using it. Unlike me when I was kneeling in front of it so when I’m standing the print is awkward. That was a me problem not a product problem.If I need to update the print or use my phone for any sort of access it takes repeated attempts to get it to reconnect with the lock. Usually the 6th try or so it works. Not sure if that’s the lock or my phone. Any time you need to connect you need your GPS and Bluetooth on. Why it needs your GPS location is baffling especially since you can’t remote unlock outside of bluetooth range.I got this lock because I thought I’d be able to unlock my door for maintenance while not at home but it doesn’t work that way so I’m disappointed with that. The product was not misleading or anything just instructions and descriptions were not clear.So to be clear, if you’re getting this lock for remote access, it won’t work unless you’re within bluetooth range.When installing the product, if you think it’s right side up, it’s actually upside down. When selecting which way your door opens, select the opposite of the pictures. The wire that connects the 2 halves of the lock absolutely is a PITA and have fun fighting it.

Title: Solid Lock. See Review for How-To Google Home Intergration
Review: Purchased as an affordable solution to adding a smart lock to my garage door. I live in an apartment and my garage is not directly attached. This solution provided an easy way to access without using keys. Setup was easy, quick, and simple. It took me less than 10 minutes to install and program fingerprints. The lock has limited features/options but has auto lock functionality and google home integration, which are two must have features for me. One feature that’s lacking are notifications, like opened, closed, lock stuck, etc. The documentation also needs to be updated to include the process of integrating the lock with google home. **to integrate the lock you have to link a Smart Life account using the credentials provided in the GeekSmart app (see review pics). I also had to email customercare@geektechnology.com for the GeekSmart app to show the Remote Voice Unlock feature in the lock settings. That way you can set the voice Unlock PIN for google home (see review pics).

Title: Looks good, quality seems good, but tech is disappointing!
Review: The the app seems to recognize fingerprints when adding to users but when the locks are installed and it actually comes to using biometrics to gain access to my house it only seems to recognize fingerprints 10% of the time. All scanned prints were entered in different configurations to give the app a good reference of the fingerprints but still poor recognition! Also the Bluetooth quality is poor it drops constantly so I can’t even use the app to unlock the doors unless I’m right near the door, an by then what’s the point I can manually unlock it. I purchased two fingerprint deadbolts, two fingerprint doorknobs, one approach lock with Bluetooth and a Gateway to allow the use of Alexa. I got the same results on each device, I could not get the Gateway to work with Alexa and tech support is non-existent! No responses to requests for help and printed instructions are poor at best with many spelling errors.Don’t waste your time, the items are less expensive for a reason and it’s not because they are quality products! This was a HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT!!! I returned everything!!!!
