Title: Cleaning made easy
Review: My wife writes …With the Fernida makeup sponge cleaner you get 2 mesh bags, 1 silicone bag and 1 tie. Put your makeup tools, such as sponges, brushes, powder puffs, in one of the mesh bags, fill the silicone bag with warm water, put in the cleaner (I use Dawn), put the mesh bag with makeup tools in the silicone bag, tie the silicone bag with the tag provided, let soak a few minutes, kneed the bag, empty out the dirty water and rinse until water comes out clear. Then take the mesh bag and hang it for the tools to dry. Quick and easy way to clean sponges, brushes, etc. An easy recipe for cleaning your makeup tools. I was thrilled with how well this worked in cleaning my makeup sponges, the only item I have tried it on so far.I will say I had difficulty with the tie because there was a silicone piece blocking the hole for the other end of the tie to go through. Once we got that piece out it worked fine. Hint: make sure you can use the tie before starting the cleaning process.I recommend the Fernida makeup sponge cleaner for a quick and easy way to clean makeup tools. Title: Not for my makeup brushes
Review: This concept works well for makeup sponges and reduces the amount of water used to clean them (I feel like the water is always running to get them completely clean). However, I would be hesitant to put any of my makeup brushes to soak in these since I thought the general rule of thumb was to avoid getting the part connecting the handle to the brush/bristles too wet; this can cause the adhesive over time to wear and then the handle eventually detaches. I’m not sure how well they would hold up being completely soaked in water for the 1-3 minutes suggested according to the instructions.

Title: Good idea
Review: This is a good idea for when I want to soak up my make up brushes or sponges however, for the most part, I want to wash it in one go and I find it quicker to just wash my sponges by hand without using this bag. I did use it a couple of times and it works well if you have the time to use it.

Title: Great invention!
Review: An easy way to clean your makeup sponges. Just drop them in the mesh bag, add it to the silicone bag with some water and a little cleaner of your choice (dish detergent works well), and tie it up. Let them sit a bit, then massage the bag to remove the makeup from the sponges, and rinse everything out thoroughly. Let the sponges and bags air dry. I haven’t tried washing my makeup brushes in it yet – a little concerned that they might puncture the silicone bag. At the current price of $9.99, I think it’s worth it to have a way to thoroughly clean your makeup sponges.

Title: Improves the process a little
Review: Cleaning makeup brushes and sponges is tedious. I’m forever looking for shortcuts to help me clean them, too. Thus, why I ordered this cleaner bag.I would say this is a more convenient way to clean sponges. It is still time consuming and a little annoying, but using the bag does improve the process a little. For that reason, I will keep this one around.

Title: FERNIDA Makeup Sponge Cleaner Silicone Makeup Brush Beauty Blender Cleaning Bag Sponge Puff
Review: Awesome cleaning system for makeup sponges, puffs, and beauty blenders. I’ve gotten away from the cheap drug store blending triangles and I’m using triangle puff blenders and sponge beauty blenders, so I hate throwing them away. I use a silicone bowl to clean my brushes, but you could certainly clean brushes with this system as well. You get 2 mesh pouches (like small lingerie bags) to put your dirty makeup sponges in, then a larger outer silicone pouch that you fill with warm water and whatever detergent you use for brushes (I use ELF brush cleaner or just plain Dawn dish soap). Mesh bag with the sponges goes into the silicone bag with the water, then tie close with the silicone strip. Let the sponges soak and/or massage them to get the makeup out. Then rinse with water until the water runs clear or repeat the process as needed.
