Title: Excellent basic thermostat
Review: Many people do not want complicated programmable thermostats, myself included. As an electrician with over 50 years working on heating -cooling systems, half the time you attempt to pull the thermostat off to replace the batteries, you wind up ripping the base off the wall. This thermostat has a battery door on the front, so no need to pull it off. Brilliant!!

Review: If your house’s old digital thermostat that only has 2 wires from the wall (old capacitor thermostat) is no longer working, this product is the solution without needing to go manual thermostat which has no display. The battery slot is in the front, so you don’t have to take off the whole thing to change the batteries.
