Title: DAYLIGHT COLOR AS HOPED FOR
Review: These bulbs were perfect replacement for the somewhat yellowish bulbs in rented home. There is no flicker – only smooth daylight brightness. I had hoped for a little more lumens but 75 watt was not available. I have given 5 stars for longevity because of my previous experience with LED bulbs. Bulbs using LED were first installed more than 10 years ago are still working.

Title: Not 600 lumens and base breaks bulb sockets
Review: Bought a 12-pack for a chandelier with 12 sockets. It turns out the “tip” on the end of the bulb’s screw-in base is flatter than normal bulbs and so it has to be screwed-in extra far (and therefore extra-tight) before it makes electrical contact and lights up. As a result, I now have one of my sockets that’s cracked in half due to the force. In addition, after getting the other 11 bulbs installed, I discovered that these bulbs are nowhere close to the advertised 600 lumens, as my old bulbs were 500 lumens and were about twice as bright as these. Very disappointed. And I had to rent a tall ladder for the day to reach the chandelier, so I’m out a few hundred bucks on that as well.

Review: This bulb was especially interesting because the previous bulbs had a large plastic base which prevented light from going in all directions. This both resolved that issue and improved the light brightness / quality substantially. We used in two fixtures – one above the dinning table and one in the entrance where it lights both the lower and upper level (upper level lighting was suffering because of the large base on the prior bulbs used).The light output is very bright and seems closer to natural light than most LEDs I’ve used before. I very noticeable upgrade!
