Title: Best Motherboard I Ever Had
Review: really like this motherboard. works well haven’t ran into any issues at all. struggled to get the wifi and bluetooth working at the start until i realized i had to plug in that white fin thing. other than that i have ran into zero issues. the smart ai overclocking works great and it let me reach my max ram speeeds. i usually am super critical on tech stuff but this board is amazing the build quality is fantastic, the white makes it even more dope even with my black setup. all ports worked properly and my games all ran smooth and amazing. if you’re building a pc get this board you won’t regret it especially for the price. ASUS and ROG never fail to amaze me. 10/10 would buy again.

Title: Great build quality on components as always
Review: Build quality is exceptional the asus way is the only way, Works with Gskill trident royal 8000mt out of the box just enable expo. paired with a 9800x3d and a 4080 games are beyond fluent. No load times , no hard frame dips it just eats. I will recommend if running a newer card go at least 1000-1250w psu as things get hungry. The board has hundreds of customizable options to oc and even comes with AI tuner to automatically tune clocks and their respective , curves , it will even tune aio pumps. Update your bios to thenlatest version on first boot , install or boot windows. I recommend a clean install and then download the drivers via windows update or the motherboard site and load up it’s a beast.

Title: solid board, pricey but worth it imo
Review: what i like:white pcb board, its sickmultiple fan headers,4 m’2 slots, 2 connected to the cpu and 2 connected to the pcie slots; plenty of room to upgrade your storagemultiple argb headers if you’re like me and gotta have purple rgb with the white boardsuper fast post and boot time, has lights showing it posting from cpu to vga to bootplenty of room for lots of ram if you’re a gamer you wont meet the limit for a whilethis board is future proof for the next 3-4 years as of 2025usb c, bios flashback, and usb 3 to 4 i believe. lots of Usb portswhat i dont like (most are nitpicky):when assembling the solder on the bottom cut my finger, it can be sharp so be careful when holding the boardheaders for specific things are harder to stretch cords to making it look ugly, cable management is necessary but i cba to sort that outtwo of my ram slots arent working, unsure if its the cpu or the board itself which i have 32 gb installed so im not super worried about as of right nowthe cpu install felt very tight when putting the clip downall in all it is a beautiful board, great value for money, it is pricey if budget is a concern i would worry about your cpu, graphics and ram before finalizing your purchase. an upgrade from a 2019 board for example would leave you having to buy a new cpu ram and graphics card as well to keep up. ive used it for about a month and i havent had much trouble out of it.

Title: Two boards no good?
Review: First board I bought the ethernet port would not work, so I had it replaced. Received the second board and everything worked perfectly. 27 days after buying it the ethernet port went out. I thought maybe my two network cables were bad, so I bought a new network cable from Amazon and it still would not work. Tested all three cables on my wife’s laptop with no problems. I plugged the WiFi antenna up and started using it. I will say the WiFi on this board is amazing. With 1GB internet I was getting over 700 Mbps on the speedtest. On the 30th day I got the solid orange DRAM light. I reseated everything on the board. CPU, GPU, RAM, and all connections. Still would not boot up. I can understand one board not working but not two. So I returned it for the Asus TUF X870-PLUS. Ten days in so far with the TUF with no problems. It even seems to run faster, probable because something was wrong with the X870-A.

Title: Nice board, mediocre software
Review: Nice 870 board. Beautiful aesthetics. Functions fine. Could better with software. The Armoury Crate is the necessary evil. When it works it’s great. You might be able to get 4×24 6000mts with this board if using a 4×24 kit. Better choice is a 870E board. 6000mts with 2 sticks works out if the box with this board.

Title: Quality Premium x870 Motherboard
Review: I purchased the ROG x870-a motherboard in January 2025 for $270 for my white gaming PC build and I have been thoroughly happy with the performance and features of this motherboard. I am currently pairing this motherboard with a Ryzen 7 9800x3d cpu, 64gb of DDR5 ram and a Gigabyte Aorus Master 5080 GPU. The board is well constructed with solid thermal heatsinks and plenty of PCI-e slots for SSDs, the RGB lighting is subtle and pairs well with the rest of my machine. The bios is easy to use and the AI overclocker feature makes it easy for beginners to unlock additional CPU performance, adding additional speed to my 9800x3d boost clocks and running my memory at EXPO settings of 6000 mt/s with no issues. At $270 it’s a great price for a quality x870 chipset board.

Title: Awesome Wi-Fi motherboard for AM5 CPU
Review: This motherboard is super sick. I love the extra usb ports and usb c ports on it that are labeled with the speeds. Gotta love the design on it as well. Upgraded to this motherboard when I switched to AM5 and DDR5. Definitely worth choosing this motherboard especially with the WiFi and Bluetooth capabilities.

Title: It just didn’t like the DRAM I fed it
Review: Unfortunately I had to return this one because it just would not cooperate with several different XMP/EXPO-rated matched memory I had on hand. It refused to boot at all with one G-SKILL 64GB set, and would not run at the rated 6000 MHz with another name brand that was also rated for AMD EXPO use. And yes, I updated the BIOS first. I also looked at ASUS’ page for compatible DRAM, and saw one of mine was listed there. Tried it, but no-go.It’s too bad, because it is a beautiful board. I ended up buying an MSI mobo, and it had no problem running EXPO with the same memory sticks. I suspect this is a BIOS issue, not hardware, so maybe ASUS will come out with a DRAM-focused update at some point. I’ve used lots of ASUS mobos in the past, but never had this kind of problem before. I know AMD processors can be picky with DRAM. My processor is the Ryzen 9 9950x–the fastest AMD makes right now (pre-9950x3d release), but I just can’t wait around for a newer BIOS update.

Review: I see people mentioning the pcie lanes , this does not reduce the lanes to gpu if you use the number 1 gen5 m2 ssd slot only if you use the second gen 5 m2 slot . the gen 4 spots will reduce the second pcie lanes the 4.0 slot if add 1 drive, it will turn it off if add 2. build done and have used it for a few weeks . over clocks stable and all working great . x98003d 5450 mhz though most ive got is like 5440 though theory it could reach, gkill 48g 8000 mt . occt stress test passed on ram and cpu is still my 4080 but 2950 mhz on gpu clock and passed tests , waiting on my backorder for 5090 . cpu benchmarks 3dmark top 15% . board is solid once tweak gives good easy overclocking and a white MOBO for white builds . cpu is an under volt of 20 to reduce heat and then pression boost increased by 200 and target temp increased to stage 1, 90 degrees. my understanding is I could possible do more if I lower my rams speeds. the ram had to be overvolted to 1.4v to make stable from the xmp or whatever file of 1.35v its listed under compatibility on MOBO vendor site at 1.35v but was not stable till 1.4v hope helps anyone having issues reaching advertised speeds or better then . will update again if I ever get my new gpu and or have an issue. also I couldnt get this system to work with windows 10 at all it was unstable and would crash after short time even trying to get drivers installed was basically impossible so be sure you have windows 11. wifi 7 wont work with out a driver even in windows 11 . download the drivers and updates from the vendors site on an alternate computer and have on a usb flash drive to make life easy . also dont forget it is ASUS if you have a warranty issue make sure you photograph every millimeter of your product before send it in . tossed my 5090 in and moved gpu tweak sliders and top 6% for steel nomad . dam good score for no extra work

Review: Es mi primera tarjeta madre que compro y me sentía nervioso por como fuera a llegar, pero la caja llegó en muy buen estado sin golpes, y en especial los pines para el procesador, que son muy delicados, a la hora de enviar, también llegó con todo su contenido de stickers, guía , antena, etc. Me encanta los detalles que Asus le pone a sus productos, y ya por último me queda probarla y ver qué en realidad funcióne correctamente, por el momento le doy 5 estrellas, cuando por fin pueda probarla, actualizaré mi reseña.
