Title: Worthwhile if you can catch it cheap, but don’t expect much in the way of comfort
Review: There seems to be dozens of futons that are very similar in style to this one. I just happened to pick the ZINUS due to its price, which at the time was $109. I doubt there is much difference between the other “brands” as they’re all probably made by the same factory in china. I don’t know how they’re currently justifying the $280 price tag. I would be incredibly upset if I paid $280 for this futon. It’s super uncomfortable and it seems like it’s going to break every time I go to adjust the angle. I mostly purchased it because I liked the way it looked. I would feel terrible for any guest who had to actually sleep on this thing. I actually find myself more often sitting on the floor next to the futon. It really is a terrible piece of furniture.Finally, while this isn’t the good folks over at ZINUS’ fault, it was delivered through an amazon carrier and they dropped it off at the wrong apartment and called it good. I checked the photo and it was clearly not mine, but I couldn’t tell which apartment it was. They all look pretty much the same. So, I filed a dispute, and was told I would get a new one, but two days later I happen to see my futon still on this person’s porch. So, I schlepped it back to my apartment and almost had a heart attack in the process.So I’m adding an extra star because it reminded me to call my cardiologist and refill my ace inhibitors. Amazon credited me all of $20 for my troubles, even though they were originally going to send me an entire replacement for free. Thanks.

Title: Stylish, fits in my space, and great for guests
Review: I was shopping for an easy space solution for my office that could also be used for guests. Something stylish and an upgrade from our earlier traditional wood futon. This was super easy to assemble. My college-aged niece was able to comfortably sleep on it for a week while visiting. It’s not the same as a mattress, but a definite upgrade from what we used to have. And it’s definitely the best looking of everything I saw at this price point. I like hanging out on it while working when I want a break from my desk. Definite high recommend!

Title: Comfy sofa bed for kids or shorter people
Review: Bought as an extra sleeping bed for guests. Comfortable to sit on for long periods, and the cushion doesn’t deflate after prolonged use. It is easy to switch to “bed” form and has three tilt options: regular seating, lean, and bed. A good length for kids or shorter people. Not long enough for taller people to sleep as their feet will hang off the end.

Title: Not for tall people
Review: If you are 6 feet steer clear. I am short and this thing does not fit me. It is very low to the ground for sitting. You can only sleep on it adequately if you are a small child or sleep in the fetal position. As for comfort, my floor is softer. Style is the only thing this couch has going for it. It looks fabulous. But if you want actual sleep-able function for adults, you might want to pass.As for assembly, it is all one piece. Need too people to carry because the awkwardness of it being one piece and the folding. It only locks in the complete flat position. Must be turned on it’s side to get it through a doorway.
