Title: High quality and very sturdy
Review: I own 2 of these benches. The first one I bought 4 years ago and it is such great quality I bought another one. My elderly dad uses it all the time to take his shoes on and off and when he sits he drops onto, it has never once given me concern about it breaking. Highly recommend.

Title: Nice storage bench for small spaces
Review: This cute, functional little bench is great for a small space. It has a rustic look but could fit in with lots of different decor. Mine sits in the living room, near the front door, under a large window with some pillows on top. It can provide some extra seating. The seat opens with a hinged lid and there is a compartment that provides a decent amount of storage – it is not very deep though. Then there is a shelf below where you can put storage baskets, shoes, etc. I frequently get compliments on this little bench. It was pretty easy to assemble – one person can do it but two would be better. It seems to be sturdy and well made – it was just what I was looking for to fill the space under the window.

Title: Being Benched Is A Welcomed Change!
Review: We’ve needed an entryway bench with storage for so long…so glad to have discovered this one! Perfect in size and sturdier than I imagined it would be. *Just be sure that the photo/image represents the color you are ordering. I thought it was the lighting in the photos that made the color look differently…but thankfully, though disappointed with the color, I was able to make it work. It’s a GREAT bench.

Review: Very precise alignment of holes made this easy to assemble. The correct number of fasteners was included, plus some extras in case a few got lost during assemble. Read Step 1 and Step 5 together to make sure of proper hole selection. Use a power drill with a low clutch setting to speed up the job. The short arm of the Allen wrench can be sawed off, and the long arm inserted into a power drill for the allen fasteners. Clutch tension can be increased for Allen fasteners only. Four paws up!

Review: My purchase arrived on time and in good condition. Instructions were good. However, read and look carefully, as pieces aren’t necessarily labeled as front and back. We had the whole thing together and then discovered that the side pieces were at the wrong ends which meant that the pilot holes for the lid hinges were not where they should be! No problem though, as we drilled new pilot holes and the hinges work great. Shoes fit nicely underneath and gloves and umbrellas sit inside the bench box. I intend to get a cushion that fits on-top of the lid for a better and softer seat. Its a nice piece and looks good at our front entrance. Would recommend.
