Title: Options galore!!
Review: Arrived quick. Easy to install, easy to set up with codes and finger prints. Several nice options (up to 20 codes or finger prints, can have it lock automatically or not and set how long it takes to do that, can have sound for beeps on or off, single use codes can be programmed). Nice options my other dead bolts don’t have. Works as it should. As of now, I’d order this again.

Title: Solid lock: functions as expected but needs better low battery indicator
Review: This lock was easy to install and program, and it seems sturdy.Fingerprints often need to be programmed twice. It always forgets the first time you set a new fingerprint up, and it needs to be set up again. After that, it’s fairly smooth sailing, although the fingerprint reader can be very particular about the angle of your finger, which is probably a good thing.The biggest problem is that the low battery indicator is not more obvious. The light flashes green when you open the lock, and it flashes red when your code or fingerprint is not accepted, so a red light flashing when the battery is low is not much of an alert. The alert needs needs to be something different from the normal function actions–maybe a repeated or prolonged sound, like a fire detector–in order to be effective. If you use this on on the main door to your home, carry the key that comes with it. Otherwise, you are locked out when it dies.

Title: (Update) Love it!
Review: *Update*Don’t be like me and not thoroughly read all the instructions and look at all the pictures. Something kept tickling the back of my brain about the lock that I’d missed something important so I went back and looked at the instructions and locking mechanism…I missed the part where you can make it longer! With some elbow grease and a dish towel (it is slightly greasy and kept slipping from my grip) I was able to turn the latch 90 degrees, pull out, then pull back the 90 degrees to lock the length in place and ta-da! It lined up perfectly. After feeling rather foolish for a minute that I missed that I easily put the front and back plate on and easy peasey the lock works perfectly and was SO easy to install. So don’t be a me, if it is too short, make sure you have it extended to the full length before you give up.Original:Bought this a while ago and finally got some time to install. Apparently I did not do my measurements right on the front door because the deadbolt does not fit. The actual deadbolt itself is also smaller than the one I had previously, which just feels less secure.My old dead bold has a slot where I thought I’d be able to make this one work with it. Was able to fully connect everything, was excited…until I realized that it holds the lock (deadbolt knob may be better wording) about a 1/4″ to the right of the unlock position. I’m sure there is a way I can fix this, I just got a bit defeated and gave up for the time being so I can go back with fresh eyes and attitude. I’ll update it if I’m able to adjust it.For now, I can manually lock and unlock the door with the key, but the electronics don’t work (they try) because the knob for the lock is not set to one of the three positions.I got this as a set, so I have one for my backdoor too. Now knowing the measurements, I checked between the two doors and the front door bore hole is about 1/2 inch deeper in than the back door (so I probably measured the back door assuming they would be the same, silly me). So I have a better feeling that the back door will go on smoothly, I just got frustrated and a bit defeated feeling and had to walk away from the project, so it’ll be something I try next weekend. (I also have a different style of the same brand I tried next and that one just about ended me, I have steel wrapped doors and it requires three holes to be drilled in to secure it…hence the over-dramatic feelings, that one is the one I really lost it on).

Title: Great value great customer service
Review: Look, this lock for this price is everybody is good at quality seems to have the features of my previous lock that I am now replacing in less than 2 years of use but it was over $300. So if you consider the price of this lock it’s a great bargain the quality I sent them side by side this thing is every bit built as well as the $300 lock, making it a better deal no matter what. I had a couple issues with fingerprint but I know that that can be hit and miss with different people my fingerprints are not all that consistent maybe it’s cuz I’m 65 years old and maybe my fingerprints aren’t quite as pronounced or whatever and maybe it’s not as sensitive to my fingerprints however the functionality the simplicity of installing this lock the quality of it not to mention I dealt a little bit with customer service and they’re amazing any product that they sell you can be comfortable in knowing that they’re going to stand behind it. I’m not totally unhappy I didn’t hey this low price thinking that I was going to get even the quality that I did, and to be honest the biometrics the fingerprint function wasn’t really that important to me, it was the functionality and the quality more important than anything else and I’m happy with those parts. I have issues with my fingerprint on my phone’s and other items that use biometrics nowadays and so I’m not going to judge it just based on that, yes I had issues and they all programmed just fine but when I went to use I did have a couple issues with getting it to recognize my fingerprint but like I said that’s nothing new for me I’ve had issues using biometrics all along. So feel good about the product for this value you certainly aren’t going to find another one with fingerprints function at this price not of this quality anyway so if it’s not the most important thing and you don’t have trouble with your own biometrics use at home with other items then I would consider looking no further this is a good deal. Make sure you communicate with the sellers they’re great they’re concerned about you being happy with their products so all in all even though I didn’t rate this a five I did raise my overall rating because I was so impressed with the customer service so in general I feel pretty good about this lock and the value and that the celery was very conserved with my happiness hope it works for you if this is what you need.

Review: Hace 2 meses compré la cerradura para mi puerta principal. Fue fácil de instalar pero, para no fallar, leí las instrucciones y vi el video. No tuve que hace mas hoyos, con el que tenia de mi cerradura anterior fue suficiente. La programación también fue fácil para mi pero también hay que leer tranquilamente las instrucciones. Le instalé hace 2 meses las pilas y aun siguen funcionando sin problemas, no se han descargado. Abrimos siempre con la huella digital y hasta el día de hoy, nunca ha fallado.Creo que hice una excelente compra. Estamos encantados con ésta cerradura!
