Title: Great game
Review: If you love racing games – you gotta have Shift 2 – Unleashed. To me, it is one of the best. The music is great and the sound effects are real. It will suck you in and keep you pinned to the back of your seat. You’ll miss meals ’cause you keep saying “one more race. Just one more THEN I’ll quit”. I love the cars and the tracks. There are lots of good racing games. But, none give me a “Racing-Jones” like NFS Shift 2. Well, I’d write some more, but I gotta have another go at Suzuka with the Lotus before hitting the rack. And, really… This stuff isn’t just for kids. I’m retired and living on Social Security. Virtual racing gives me the kind of excitement I can get no where else. It’s just such a blast…

Title: Fast and Fun
Review: I loved the first Need for Speed Shift so I had to pick up the 2nd one. The sound is great, the game is great, even Online is GREAT! The only problem with online is that people quit when they’re losing – which is no fun. The loading for the game can take a long time, but it’s worth it.I recommend getting this game if you want to have fun with your friends or others online. It’s not like GT5 or Forza 3, but it stands alone in a different book. Not a lot of cars. but the one you have will be fun to drive in.The helmet cam is new and it’s very exciting. The turning will make you feel like you’re actually looking at where you’re turning. I just have to say is that this game is great. Worth picking up.

Title: Buy Dirt 3 instead
Review: This game on default settings is unplayable. To top that there is no rewind system at all. Another reviewer posted steering settings that allow you to actually get around a track, but even after that I couldn’t play it more than 30 minutes before I shelved it permanently. I stopped playing it out of frustration and have zero interest in playing it again. That’s saying a lot, I love racing games. Not this though.Dirt 2 and 3 are the pinnacle of fun auto racing; Forza is the ultimate in cool auto racing; Shift 2 is… well there’s nothing left for Shift 2 to be.. except bad.. and nearly unplayable even after the settings correction. Title: Great Sim-cade racing!
Review: So let me start by saying ive played my share of racing games in my life, starting from nascar 96′ to Gran Turismo 1-5, Forza 2-4, and Ive played many arcade racing games like need for speed underground 1 and 2, and carbon ect. So i feel Ive earned my stripes to put in my opinion on this game. This game is not full sim racing like gran turismo or Forza, it hugs the line between arcade and sim closer to the sim side, for 1 it is simulating a real car and real apex and laterial G’s. The steering in this game takes time to get used to, but in 1 day i was kickin some ass just like I would be in Forza or GT5, doesnt take long to get used to the steering, with the right settings and deadzones it can feel just like any other triple A racing game out there, However it is Need for speed, what would a Need for speed be without its intense, mind numbing, high speed racing?? pretty damn boring! So anyway here’s a quick review:Graphics: The graphics in this game are amazing, definetly tops graphics of Forza 4 but with that the game suffers with a lower car count and less events and slightly lower frame rate.Controls & Gameplay: Once you get used to this game’s controls and set deadzones and assists on or off (I suggest off) it really does have good controls, steering is on point, braking and accelerating is on point, the cars will drive in their prime after youve spent some cash on them and tuned them. This game has really good upgrades and is up to standards with any other racing game, The Biggest plus on the controls for this game is the fact you can customize your configuration, you can make any button w/e you want it to be. This game also has the best cockpit view yet, also the Helmet view is really great too once u get used to it, this game has a real great sense of speed when youre flying down the track your vision starts to blur and you can feel every bump and contour on the track, especially with an upgraded car with new tranny and clutch, camshaft the car really drives and shifts really well. If youre a Forza fan or GT5 fan take my word and try this game out for atleast a week before judging it, no1 has to only like 1 game, I play all types of games GT5 and Forza Im not a fanboy of any sort I just like to race and sometimes Forza and GT5 get boring and I need somthing else. This is that somthing. Newcomers dont dismiss this game because it looks to sim-ish or hard, get the game learn controls and give it a few days as well.Online play/ game modes: This game has a great deal of game modes rather than dull events and its nice to change it up for a bit. There is a game mode where theres 3 laps and you have to beat a certain time for each lap to win, theres eliminator which whoever is in last place each lap gets eliminated, its need for speed you already know what their game modes are like! Ok Drag racing.. you want to spend an extra 10$ at Gamestop or walmart and get some microsoft points and buy the speedhunters pack, it has 12 cars and is a whole drag racing expansion and it really shines, it makes for some of the best drag racing Ive ever played on a console! wheelie bars, parachutes, actual slicks that looks like slicks!- A must buy. So yeah this game has its short comings but what game doesnt? Id say this game is really huge for a need for speed title and The devs deserve some gratitude, it really is a great game.My final Score: custom button configs., graphics, cockpit view/helmet view, intense highspeed semi-realistic racing, with great game modes.. runs pretty smooth and has great physics. I’d give it an **(8/10)** and id recomend it to any of my friends or any hardcore sim racer.

Review: 前作を持っていて続編があったらやりたいと思ってました。ネットで調べたらこれを見つけ、海外版でも持ってるXBOX360でゲーム出来るとあったので不安でしたが情報を信じて買ってみました。私が購入したのは新品の北米版だと思います。早速動作するかまずディスクをいれるとアップデートしますとあったのでこの表記が出た時点で大丈夫だろうと(^ ^)で再起動してコードを入力・・・「無効なご利用コード」ええ！？なんで！！こうならない様に中古じゃなく新品を選んだのに・・・（＞＿＜）ただ後でレヴューに使えないという方もいるみたいなので日本だからなのかな・・・と渋々でゲーム本編をやって元を取るぞ！という事で鼻息荒くやってみましたｗまだ初めの方しかやってませんがコクピット視点が２段階？みたいになり、そこで驚きムービーもかなり個人的には良かったです(^ ^)ただ指摘がある通りゲームのグラフィックは前作が上だったと思います。感覚的にforza3の様にも感じたけど・・・好きなので許容範囲かな(^ ^;本当は☆５といきたかったのですが新品なのにコードが使えなかったという事でマイナスしました返金という選択肢もありましたが￥７０００とか￥５０００のゲームじゃなかったので買ったこのソフトで遊ぶつもりです

Review: 初めはやはり真っ直ぐ走らせる事すら困難でしたが、操作やセッティング等このゲームの方向性が理解出来て来ればもうこっちのモノで、攻め込んだ走りが出来ます。GTやFMS他のNFS等をプレイしていて、自分が作りたい(そんな事勿論出来ませんが)としたらこんな感じに近いゲームだと思った。レビューではありませんが、レースゲームにはプレイ中の巻き戻し有るにこしたことは無いですね、次回作には是非とも付けて欲しいです。

Review: 最初に私はGT5、FORZA3、NFS、PGR、GRID、などその他幅広くレースゲーに手をつけているものです。もちろん前作シフトもしました。まず、正直なファーストインプレッションは、グラフィックの大幅劣化に大変ガッカリしました。前作がGT5とFORZA3の間ぐらいのそこそこに背景も車もリアルなPGR4に近いグラフィック（個人的にはどのゲームの中でも一番好きなグラフィックバランス）だったのに対し、今作は、GT4かFORZA2ぐらいのグラフィック劣化具合です。かなりやる気が削がれました。なぜ前作のグラフィックレベルを保てなかったのか疑問です。前作の路面のしっとり感や車の重圧感は皆無です。ナイトレースやリアル挙動を追求した見返りなのかわかりませんが、リプレイは見ていて全然盛り上がりません。ナイトレースはそこそこ周りが見えないのでいいですが、デイレースはかなり酷い・・・。プレイ中の挙動などはかなり良くなったと思いましたが、走っててもあまり楽しくないというか、全体的にすべてがぼやけていてイマイチだと感じました。どこに重きを置くかは人それぞれだとは思いますが、私は前作のほうがよっぽど楽しいと感じました。前作のグラフィッククオリティで車内の演出などが更に上がって、更にナイトレースもあり、車種も増えて、AIも頭がいい。そんなのを想像していただけにかなりガッカリしてしまいました。グラフィック以外は他の人のレヴューにあるように上記の部分が満たされ、かなり進化しているようです。ただ、シフト２はグラフィックに重きを置く人にはお勧めできないと思いました。前作シフトは大絶賛なのですが・・・。シフトの魅力は運転している感とスタイリッシュな演出、そこそこのリアリティだと思っていたので残念です。お手軽にかっこいい演出などを味わいたい方は前作のシフトをお勧めします。

Review: コースも沢山あり、全てのコースに昼、夕方、夜のシチュエーションがあります。 しかし、挙動がダメダメです。とにかくマシンがフラフラして、運転していて面白くないです。 他にも、お金は全然貯まらない仕様になっていて、DLCを買わないと全車集めるのはかなり厳しいです。 しかも自分のもっている車以外は他のモードでも使えないので好きな車で適当にレースができません。 コース数もエンジン音も車内視点も完璧なのに挙動、ゲームのシステムのせいでちっとも楽しめませんでした。

Review: 前作のNeed For Speed Shiftがよかったので、その続編として期待しました。国内版が出そうにないので輸入版（アジア版）を購入、前作と内容は変わらないと思い輸入版でもいいかと購入しましたが、挙動や仕様はより繊細になりちょっとした縁石にも反応してコースアウトしてしまう様、若干変更された画面や、やはり英語力の不足から、思うような設定ができません。また、一番残念なのは同封されているオンラインキーコードがなぜか使えません。中文が入ったアジア版だから？？思わず疑ってしまいます。その件を発売元のEAにつたない英語でメールしましたが、いまだ返事は返ってきません。2日間のオンライン体験があったのでそちらを選択したら入れましたが、たまたまなのかオンライン上は荒れていて、いくらバトルレースとは言え最低のルールは持って欲しいと思うようなプレイヤーが多く見られました。2日間の体験を終え、またオンラインは出来なくなりました。思わぬアクシデントとは思いますが、期待していただけにこのゲームの値打ちが半分しかなく、プレイする気持ちも半減し、とても残念です。
