Customers say
Customers find the amplifier works well with their speakers and appreciate its sound quality, with one noting no weird noises or distortion. The device is easy to set up and use, has a compact size, and provides more power than needed. They consider it good value for money. However, the Bluetooth connectivity receives mixed feedback – while some find it easy to connect, others report that the Bluetooth function is annoying and stops working altogether.

Title: lots of power; clear sound
Review: i previously bought 2 different brands of amplifiers and neither actually lived up to my expectations. i will be returning them. the pyle pta24bt arrived earlier today and i already have it set up. it sounds great. its a powerful little amp. i have my pc hooked up to it via aux 1 and my hd tv is hooked up to my pc. so i view my pc (you tube, peacock, whatever) and listen through this little amp using 5 speakers. not sure of their impedance but their size is roughly 8″ x 4″ but they are really clear sounding and this amp can really crank them up. i ran a test by playing music through windows media player and i never pushed the amp volume past half-way. i didn’t have to. it got pretty loud. i’ve had the amp on now for a couple of hours and it is slightly even warm. i don’t know why some reveiwers complained that the amp got very hot after about a half hour. there are air vents on the top and bottom of this amp and they can not be covered up or obstructed. the vents need to be exposed to the open air so that the heat can be released. duh. if you want you can run a small 5″ personal fan over the vents to help release heat but at this point i don’t see any problems. granted, i’ve only had this amp for less than a day so if i experience any overheating problems in the future i wil reveiw again. the only complaint i have at this point is that when i plug in my bose noise-cancelling headphones, i hear music through both, the headphones and the speakers, if i turn the volume down on my amp and turn up the headphone volume i hear nothing through either one. anyone got any advise on how to remedy this? its really not a deal breaker though since i have a 3.5mm splitter attached to the end of my aux cable and so i can simply turn off the amp and plug my headphones directly into my pc. but still, the headphone volume control on amp doesn’t seem to work at all. perhaps i am doing something wrong somehow, i don’t know. i haven’t really had the time to fiddle with it yet. well, that’s all from me – for now.

Title: Had this for 3 years and it’s been great
Review: I bought this because I needed a budget option for a pair of 100W Polk speakers and subwoofer. I have used the FM radio function, Bluetooth, and keep it hooked up to the TV.The 4 stars:The sound quality seems good to me. No weird noises or distortion. The remote it came with is useless other than volume. The Bluetooth isn’t great (very short range) but it works. This unit would be great for a garage setup. The power button is also mechanical and the remote cannot power on and off the unit. It works well for me because I do rarely change inputs so I just leave the power on so I don’t have to get up each time when I turn the TV on. For a quick budget setup, and compact size I needed for the TV stand this worked great.

Title: 2nd One I’ve Bought
Review: The first one of these I bought was on Ebay and it was plagued with some problems. Didn’t return it so I decided to get another one instead and THIS TIME, no problems. Works as it should. Happy with it, and works great with my DAPs with Bluetooth.

Title: Affordable Bluetooth Stereo Amplifier
Review: I was wanting a BT system that my AppleTV can connect to and has RCA output so I can connect my Thonet & Vander bookshelf speakers and a subwoofer. This fit my need I normally would go with a better name brand stereo receiver but I read the review and for the price this was a worry free purchase, I could always return it if it sounded poorly but so far the sound is loud and clear, I am getting more bass out the speakers too. I did order a subwoofer to connect with the receiver but unfortunately it has not arrived. The fact that this also can be use as a karaoke machine is a bonus now I just need to get a microphone to test that out. So far glad I took the chance on the PTA24BT.

Title: Needed something to power the built in speakers in my home.
Review: I have an awesome Harmon Kardon audio system in my living room, but our new home had built-in speakers and two other rooms and I needed something to power those speakers with audio coming from the Harmon Kardon. This little amp worked great. Supporting up to two additional speaker sets. I was going to buy either two smaller amps, but having one device was much nicer. It was also nice to see it had Bluetooth and fm radio. That was an added bonus.
