Title: Make sure it comes with the right bracket to fit your scooter.
Review: This did not come with the correct bracket to attach to my mobility scooter. I have not been able to install or use this without the installation bracket. It looks like a nice cup holder, but I am not able to use it.

Title: Mixed
Review: I just received this item a few hours ago so I cannot speak to how it will hold up over time.I did notice a few points right out of the gate though. First, this thing is very difficult to install on my Pride Victory 10. The hole in the mounting, for the screw in the arm of the scooter seat is too small. I had to bore it out, just a bit, to get the screw through. Second, the upper part of the holder is very limp and just falls down around whatever you have in there. I put a standard 16 ounce soda bottle in it and it will not stay. While it can sit on the little shelf, the holder part simply falls down to the base of the drink. If I move the scooter then the drink just falls right out. Maybe a big coffee mug might work, I don’t know.

Title: Fragile but does the trick
Review: This is the 2nd one we have purchased. This is due to my wife running into something with the arm rest of her scooter. This cup holder is made of plastic and I believe it would be better suited to be metal in construction to be more durable. It’s a good cup holder for all size cups otherwise.

Title: Close, but still needs the bugs worked out.
Review: After only using this item one time and having it installed less than one week. The cup holder is heavy and appears to be well made. I used a 20 oz bottle of Mt Dew Zero as the test item. The test was conducted with the side arms adjusted snuggly against the sides of the bottle.1. The bottle fell from the holder 3 times during a 20 minute time period. Once on a tile floor. Once on a carpeted floor. And once in a parking lot with a black top surface. After the test I noticed.1. The holder no longer sat level. The weight of the bottle bent the holder.2. When the item was folded to the up-right storage/closed position the unit had lost its spring leaving the base of the unit sagging open with a 1/2 inch gap near the top.My conclusion:1. The metal bracket is not thick enough to support the weight of a standard drink bottle. Using a heavier gage metal would help lower the vibration.2. The bottom surface where the drink sits is smooth and allows the drink to slide around and bounce out of the recessed area where the drink should sit.3. The spring metal used to hold the item in the up-right position is not spring metal and it is not heavy enough to hold its shape. This item works best when used while the chair is stationary. And I would limit the size of the drink to a 12 oz beverage can or equivalent cup.

Review: Obviously with the “Pride” name attached, this cup holder wasn’t cheap. But it was easy to mount to my wife’s wheelchair “swing-away” joystick holder. Just had to drill a couple of holes to match existing mounting holes – 5 minutes work.Don’t let the Pride name fool you; this can be adapted to any power wheelchair brand.
