Title: Panasonic still the best
Review: Originally planned to buy the LG model but the 2024 were all gone. I bought a Panasonic plasma tv in 2006 and it still works great, so I decided to give it a shot. Delivered in a couple days and boy am I happy! Everything about this tv is great! The picture is beautiful and the sound is so good that no soundbar is needed. The remote is simple to use, the same as the firestick. Once plugged in the tv set itself up and was good to go in 10 minutes. Can’t ask for a better tv for the price paid. A+

Title: Died in 5 hours, and Amazon can’t replace it, return is the only option!
Review: The TV died in 5 hours of operation. While watching some content, a red vertical line appeared on the screen. I could not believe it was TV, so I just returned to main screen, and sure enough the line did not disappear. Turned it off, turned it on, unplugged it, plugged it, nothing but a black screen with red line, which eventually disappears and leaves you with a black screen only. The TV I am replacing is Panasonic plasma, that is still in perfectly good condition after 16 years. Once I heard Panasonic is back to US, I got motivated to move to the OLED world.Since other people don’t seem to have this issue, it might be this particular item that is defective. So, I asked Amazon for replacement. I was told replacement was not an option! I have to return it, get refund, and order another one if I want a replacement! I’m glad I kept the box. I can’t pack this myself, so I asked for Amazon to come and pack it for me and pick it up. After talking to three people transferring to each other, I finally got affirmative response to that request. We’ll see how it will go.Couple of things about the TV that I observed within 5 hours (!) with no external connection to my receiver or Apple TV device:Good:- Picture quality is really good for 4K content.- Sound is impressive for Dolby Atmos content.Bad:- When delivery people unpacked it, the first thing I noticed was that the power cord is attached to the TV, rather than being a cord that can be plugged in. Moreover, the plug is ungrounded. This is a cheap adaption to US market.- I am not impressed with upscaling whatsoever. I can’t compare it to another TV, but If you’re not watching 4K, the picture quality does not have a wow factor. Having said that, I am not sure if I could have a better experience if I had the chance to play with different settings. So, the single star is for Amazon.I would give 4 starts to the TV itself, hoping that the defective item I received is isolated, and is not related to the TV’s adaption to US electric system.

Title: Great TV!
Review: I got this to replace my 4 year old 55″ LG OLED TV that was having sound output issues. With this TV you will not need a soundbar – the internal speakers are great! The expert reviewers say this TV is on par with the best and I believe them. I got mine when Amazon was selling these for 2299. I still think its a good buy at 2699. Amazon Fire TV Remote Pro works great as a second remote as it has almost exactly the same layout. One word of advice – Buy a second remote before you lose your first. All buttons work on the backup remote out of the box except the settings button. There is a step when syncing the new remote that you will need to push the select button on an already recognized remote. If you have lost your remote, I think you will have to go back to factory settings on everything to get the new remote to work. I now have the Panasonic remote and 2 Fire TV Remote Pros connected!
