Title: Generic Cartridge works great
Review: This generic cartridge replaced the HP 11A I use in my HP Laserjet 2430tn and so far it is working perfectly. If fit the opening exactly as the original HP cartridge it was replacing and the print quality is perfect. I have only printed 100 pages or so with it so far, but I am completely pleased and will buy this compatible toner cartridge again.

Title: Printouts are washed out, light grey not black
Review: The product arrived in the original HP package and was recognized by my printer and I printed one page and it worked so I thought I was in good shape.When I printed more, however, I realized that all of my print outs were lighter than usual. I then printed an paper that I had previously printed (on the previous toner) and compared printouts. I was amazed at how poor the new toner’s quality was. The characters were not as crisp and the entire printout was light grey vs black. Some larger fonts did print black so the toner does have “black toner in it”.I did some searches and made sure that my printer driver wasn’t set up in “econo-mode” which results in lighter print outs and that was not the case.I’m heading to a local store to purchase another toner and will look to return this one to Amazon. Unfortunately, I didn’t save the original box so I don’t know how old the “ink/toner” is. I don’t know if toner goes bad but something is definitely wrong with this toner.[Update 5/8/2013] I purchased a new cartridge from a local store (I won’t name) and found my printouts with the new cartridge were fabulous. Clearly, something was different with the laser cartridge. I’ve sent it back to Amazon for a refund. Amazon (because I purchased it through a supported reseller) will deal with the refund and the RMA (returning the product) issues.

Title: Original is best with this printer
Review: Some generics and recycled work with the printer, some don’t. I’ve wasted way to much money on them. I know the original works. Don’t stop making these, the printer may be old but it’s my workhorse, I love it.

Title: Great product for the price!
Review: I didn’t pay much for this item, but I certainly got more than my money worth. I installed it in March and it’s already in August and it’s still working. I’ve went through approximately 4000 sheets so far. This product is supposed to produce 6000 sheets, so far it’s living up to what it promises!

Title: DO NOT BUY THIS TONER!!!!
Review: The seller with this product picture tries to make you think you are getting an HP product!! YOU ARE NOT! It is some ‘Replica’ toner and on top of that.. NOT compatible.. My printer asked me to take the toner OUT! LOL Telling me this is not a HP Original product! The reason I did not return.. (WHICH I SHOULD HAVE) The day I received the toner I had a few big print projects that “Had to get DONE”, So I just went on with the toners hoping they will work.. Well Yes, they worked, But after about 800 pages the printer asked to replace toner. SO as my title suggests… “DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT”

Review: I have always used the HP original toner for my business, rather than the cheaper re-manufactured toner. Excellent printing quality is important to me and so I never take any chances with purchasing the cheaper knockoff product.

Title: huge mess
Review: Upon installing the cartridge and attempting to print a page, toner was smeared all over the pages and toner all over my printer. I’ve used them before and never had an issue but for some reason this was defective.
