Title: Get the big one if you have a larger boy, even if they’re eating less.
Review: I only feed my pup 1.5 cups (he’s on a diet) per meal, but went ahead and got the 4 cup one anyway since my pup is a larger boy. I’m glad I did! I find that size, even with less food, is perfect for larger dogs to still be able to work around, and it still slows him down exactly as desired. The bowl also cleans up beautifully and easily even when hand washing. It stays in place on my large format tile floor too. Excellent build, design, and works great.

Review: I have a 9 mos old adopted puppy. She came by way of Texas. Anyways, she’s a bolter. Then she goes to our other doggo’s dish. Colour me unamused.This has slowed her gulping down to a normal speed. No more tummy grumbles in the middle of the night. We feed her kibble for breakfast, and it slows her down immensely. Her dinner was actually the real problem. Our dogs get boiled meat (beef or chicken, depending on age), ½ a hard boiled egg, some wild rice and carrot. She can chomp that down in seconds flat. So this dish makes it possible for her to have to slow down and taste her food.It’s the perfect size for a 10 lb dog imo. AND it’s dishwasher safe.
