A quick rundown of this product’s key features:
CAT FURNITURE PROTECTOR: Unlike other transparent sofa protectors designed to prevent cat scratching, our Kiluiu transparent one-sided adhesive cat furniture protector is thickened to 0.12mm, compared to the usual 0.06mm thickness, providing better resistance to cat claws, offering superior protection for your furniture, and saving your sofa.
SUPERB ADHESIVENESS: We’ve enhanced the adhesiveness of our cat sofa protector film, making it twice as sticky as competitors’ and leaving no residue when removed. The adhesive backing won’t leave any sticky residue that requires cleaning.
EASY INSTALLATION: Simply measure, cut along the grid lines, peel off the back, and apply it to areas prone to cat scratches, removing the white backing paper. Then, you’ve equipped your furniture with an all-day personal protector! This is the easiest way to save your sofas, couches, leather furniture, beds, tables, counters, doorways, screen doors, and more! Warning: We do not recommend using this tape for cats on velvet sofas or leather furniture.
GRAND ROLL DESIGN The Kiluiu Cat Sofa Protector is made from non-toxic vinyl, free from any strange chemical odors, and comes in multiple sizes for your choice. It is 100% safe for pets. Once installed on your sofa, it becomes completely transparent. It can not only stay on relatively flat surfaces but also flexibly bend and perfectly wrap around curved furniture, preventing scratches while remaining clear and unobstructive to your decor. Thin and flexible, it provides comprehensive protection.
SAVE FURNITURE & TRAIN CATS: This scratch-resistant cat trainer helps train your cat to stop scratching your sofa by utilizing cats’ natural aversion to sticky surfaces, ultimately developing a habit of not scratching your valuable furniture.

Title: Adheres well
Review: Works well to keep cats from clawing up your furniture. We got a set of two really cool retro wing back chairs, but the fabric was so enticing to our cats they immediately started scratching the backs up. This product rolled out nicely, easy to cut to size, adhered well considering the bumpy texture of the upholstery. Also used this on our fabric ottoman which is a smoother fabric and is holding up well.

Title: It works okay
Review: Reviewed by my wife: We originally got this to put on the corner of a sofa that our cat was scratching on every now and then and it seems to work okay for that so we decided to put in on some woodwork around a couple of windows and on a door that our dog was starting to scratch up because he goes nuts when he sees a squirrel. At first it did stick pretty good but recently I noticed that it is coming off on the window trim so the stickiness doesn’t seem to be that great over time. The plastic is not super thick but it is nice that it comes in a roll and can be cut to any size or shape that you need which allows plenty of extra so you can put it on a second time or on several different areas, Overall, I think it is a little pricey but will do the job if you are going to put it on furniture.

Title: Not very good
Review: Does not stick very well to sides of recliners. Cats actually were chewing on it. Will not buy again

Title: Doesn’t look great but cat won’t scratch it
Review: This adheres surprisingly well to fabric. I haven’t had it come off yet and it’s been a couple weeks. My cat now avoids scratching the areas I put this on. The only issue is he now finds other spots on the couch… sigh… I have to keep working at training this new cat but hopefully in time that habit will stop. He is a new adult cat we adopted who does not like scratching posts yet. This plastic doesn’t really look that great, I feel like I’m back in my grandmothers house with plastic on the couches.. but it’s sought he job at protecting the couch until we can get our cat trained.

Title: Does not stick to “fluffy” couches
Review: I just got a new couch, and I have a rambunctious younger cat who likes to scratch everything. I ordered this in hopes to keep its edges intact form my cat’s nails. The couch material is a heavier, thick, fluffy corduroy material. Unfortunately, this is just not sticking to the corners. The material of the protector seems durable, so I am going to order two-sided tape to see if I am able to get it to stick that way. Hopefully that works!

Title: Thick clear plastic with decently strong adhesive
Review: For the past few months, I’ve been staying with my parents to help care for my mom while she recovers from a stroke. My cat is a non-negotiable part of the deal. Unfortunately, he’s absolutely HELLBENT on taking at least a token swipe at the corner of my mom’s sofa every time he walks by… even though I’ve surrounded it with cardboard scratchers to try giving him something more appealing to scratch, then escalated my countermeasures by LITERALLY barricading that corner behind multiple cardboard scratchers and packing tape. He pried them away, and went back to scratching the corner. So… I’m trying THIS cat scratch protector to keep him from shredding my mom’s sofa.So far, it’s been in place for a few days, and he hasn’t yet figured out how to tear it off… nor has he shifted his attacks to an adjacent (and still unprotected) portion of the sofa… so we’ll see how long it actually works. It doesn’t look very good (it’s blatantly obvious that I stuck a rectangular strip of thick, clear, shiny plastic to the sofa’s corner), but I made it as discreet as I could… and figure it will ultimately look better than shredded fabric.Technically, I could have probably accomplished the same result using thick, wide clear packing tape (since I just cut off a 4″ wide strip from the much larger roll), but I think THIS product is a bit thicker, stretchier, and stickier than packing tape.Make no mistake, though. You’re sticking a sheet of clear plastic to the fabric, and everyone who looks at it is going to instantly recognize it AS a strip of clear adhesive-back plastic. That said, so far it seems to be adhering well to the fabric (which, to me at least, has the same “feel” as that slightly creepy plastic-feeling shiny fabric almost every American mattress used to be manufactured with prior to a few years ago). The single biggest limitation (aesthetics notwithstanding) of this product is the fact that it has no ability to stretch or gracefully follow contours. Imagine, for a moment, that you took a strip of packing tape & tried to gracefully adhere it to the curves of an upholstered corner. Right, exactly. It just kind of crinkles & bunches up, because you’re trying to smoosh something that’s crinkly & stiff to a surface that curves in 3 dimensions. It works OK if you limit the curve to one dimension (ie, following a curve around a corner, like in the photo I showed), but I think it would look AWFUL if you tried to apply it to something like the top-front of an armrest.

Title: Great Scratch Protector
Review: If you need to protect your furniture/doors/walls/etc from scratches or from the side effects of a cat with a urinary tract infection until it clears up, this is a great product for both purposes. I have used a number of brands and this one is the thickest material yet. It adheres well to flat surfaces. I cut it to size and apply.I have not tried it on upholstered furniture so cannot speak to how well it works in that scenario.

Title: Excellent
Review: I just got two new chairs that I didn’t want the cats using as scratching posts. This applied easily and was a quick deterrent to the cats. While it is visible, it doesn’t look bad and is much better alternative to cats tearing things up.
