Title: This Hardshell Case From CaseMatix is Very Well Made!!
Review: As a Professional Stage & Lighting Technician, Sound & Studio Engineer, Professional Audio-Visual Production Specialist and Musician I obviously work with a lot of sensitive equipment that needs to be protected especially during travel! This hard shell case from Casematix is excellent! It features a very nice outer hard shell case material! The lid is a zippered lid! The zipper seems very durable and runs smoothly! There is a handle sewn onto the case which is basically a nylon handle with a rubber grip attached to it! The inside of the case features eggshell foam embedded into the lid and medium density pick and pluck foam as part of the main body of the case where you would store your items! The foam block that they include is a very thick foam block and should be able to protect various pieces of equipment with no problem!My only pet peace with this case is the actual durability of the sewn on handle on the top of the case! Obviously I’m not going to be able to tell the actual physical durability of this handle if heavier items are stored inside since this is very early on in my review! However only time will tell how long this sewn on handle will last on this case! I do typically deal with Pelican cases for expensive Studio items as well as moving headlights that we are transporting! This will actually be my first case of this type so again I’m really curious as to how durable this handle is they also provide a shoulder strap and the attachments on this case are also sewn on for the shoulder strap!

Title: Good Sensitive Equipment Case
Review: This is a great storage case for sensitive items. I am using it for my Mini 4 Pro drone, batteries, charger, spare props and RC2 remote. The case is true to its advertised dimensions of 15.5″ x 12.5″ x 6″. There are two levels of pluck foam that can be removed to perfectly fit the size of your stored items.This is a zippered case, so even though you may want it to be waterproof, I would classify it more as “water resistant”. In fairness, the manufacturer never claims it to be waterproof. The outer case is definitely made from a waterproof material (EVA), but I could see water seeping in through the zipper. Inside the zipper area is a soft fabric lip that overlaps with a matching material from the lid, but that too does not seem to be fully waterproof. I would trust this in light rain or lightly damp conditions, but I definitely wouldn’t trust it for prolonged water usage such as throwing in a kayak or leaving in the rain.This is a “hard case” container, but it is not hard hard. I agree its durable and with the protective foam can be used to pack in the back of a truck or trunk of a car, but it still has some give. I actually count this as a positive as it has the bend not break feel to it. With the supplied foam, I feel confident in it functioning to protect my drone and accessories. It has a pliable feel but with a sturdy overall function. I wouldn’t load it under a stack of bricks, but I dont hesitate to toss it in the trunk of my car with other luggage.The handle is a sewn nylon strapping, sewn directly into the side of the case. It feels pretty secure, but that could change depending on how heavy the items are you store in your case. I would have liked to see some rivets or something a tad bit more durable for the handle, but it functions just fine for me right now.The zipper is a typical luggage or suitcase type zipper. There are two loops that overlap when the zipper is closed which function as a way to utilize a small luggage lock on your case. Its not heavy duty, but a determined thief would be able to cut any luggage lock with enough motivation, so I am satisfied with this aspect of the case.Overall, this is a good solid case with added versatility through the foam insert. I am comfortable transporting my drone in this case and feel it protects it far better than the supplied case that came with the drone.

Title: Solid Case with Custom Foam. Perfect for Camera Gear & Travel
Review: I got this Casematix travel/storage case mainly for my camera gear, and it totally delivered. It’s not a super hard plastic shell (compared to metal), but still extremely firm and protective—think: rigid but with a ever so slight slight give. The foam inside is what really sold me. You can easily customize the layout by removing the pre-cut squares, which is great for fitting all sorts of gear. I’ve already planned to pull out the entire outer block of foam so I can rework the inside to fit my stuff just right.It’s about 12 inches tall and 13.5 inches wide, so it’s a nice medium size—great for a small laptop, monitor, or a lot camera gear. The foam depth is roughly 5 inches total, so there’s plenty of room to build in a snug little gear fortress. It even has a slim protective base layer so your equipment isn’t directly sitting on the bottom shell.The metal clips for the shoulder strap are a huge plus, no cheap plastic here, which matters when you’re hauling fragile, pricey gear. Whether it’s for daily storage or travel, especially road trips, this case is just the right mix of customizable, protective, and portable. Super happy with it!

Title: Versatile case.
Review: This is a very nice versatile case. The pluck foam interior gives you a lot of options on what you can use it for, and how you can set it up. I have several possibilities as to what I plan on storing in it. I haven’t made up my mind yet. I may use it for camera equipment. For me, deciding how I’m going to partition the pluck foam makes for an interesting and fun project. The case has two separate foam blocks that allows it to hold more items than you might initially think that it would. The hard shell exterior provides good protection, but keep the case lightweight. The $49.99 price, at the time of my writing this review, is reasonable for a case this size. Although, you might be able to find cheaper options out there if you shop around. Overall, I’m really happy with the case.
