Title: Makes non bluetooth things bluetooth
Review: I have an iPod and a Zune, this makes it bluetooth and that makes me very happy. Charge lasts a very long time and its easy to connect. I do wish the power was a toggle switch and not a hold down function, it turns on sometimes in my bag, Otherwise awesome product.

Title: Works as Advertised, but Incorrect Instructions
Review: I got this bluetooth transmitter to replace an older type, hoping for a bit of increased range and reliability due to 5.3 compatibility with my new earbuds. I am using it to listen to my home audio system. I have a line level L/R signal from my receiver connected to this unit via the mini-stereo cable attached to it using an RCA L/R to 3.5 female stereo adapter with this unit in transmit mode. Once turned on my earbuds connected to the transmitter quicky. I then connected a second set of earbuds (obviously listening to the same audio) and they also connected quickly, so you can have 2 people listening via bluetooth at the same time.I took off a star for 2 reasons. First, the pictures with the instructions are reversed. The instructions for Transmit Mode – the way I am using them – show a picture of the unit receiving a signal from a bluetooth device like a phone. While the picture for receive mode showed it transmitting to headphones, bluetooth speakers, etc. I kept looking at the pictures and scratching my head trying to figure them out, and finally concluded that they were just wrong!The second reason is that the markings for the transmit and receive switch on the side of the unit are virtually invisible. It took me a while to figure out which setting was which and you have to hold the unit under light at a particular angle to even see the markings. How hard is it to print those markings in white on a dark gray background?Anyway, the unit works fine for my purpose with slightly better range and quicker connectivity compared to my older unit. I did not test the receive function.

Title: Excellent BT reciever/transciever
Review: Overall this Bluetooth receive/transceiver works well. We have an older car that does not have a built-in Bluetooth connection, and in fact only has a tape player. We have this connected to an Aux cable using a cassette tape adaptor. This works fine. I love that this one can connect to 2 devices simultaneously, that it has a built-in microphone, so I can take calls over my car stereo, though the mic isn’t great, but generally my calls go fine. I also like that this has a battery in it, mot of the time I don’t need it, but the specific way I have the power connected the DC port sometimes dislodges. I had another adapter before this one that didn’t have a a battery and I could not use it with that port because it would shut off if it dislodged, this one keeps going and just charges when it’s connected. It’s nice to be able to use this plug and it’s physically very close to where I keep the receiver as well.
