Title: Money well spent – great for switching between personal computer and work laptop
Review: Money well spent, I don’t know why I haven’t bought this earlier.It is a pretty solid option for a relatively low price. It appears well built and does the job as advertised.Important to note this is not “hot swap”, so switching between the computers will take 5-10 seconds since it’s equivalent to plugging the cables in the computer. Also depending on your setup this can take a while since the OS will have to recognize all the devices every time you switch. For my use case this is perfect though – I have a personal computer and a work-issue laptop, so I can just dock the laptop and use my home office setup perfectly during business hours while being able to switch between personal/work with the touch of a button.I wouldn’t recommend this if you are planning on using both devices simultaneously and hope to switch multiple times in a short period (but if that’s what you are looking for, I doubt there will be any good options for even triple this price).

Title: Well thought out easy to use KVM for Laptop+Desktop
Review: This KVM has a great set of features at a very reasonable price. It is specifically designed for one laptop (for which it acts as a docking station, power+video+usb over a single USB-C cable) and one desktop (no power, USB-C plus HDMI cables). I had no problems connecting to my Win10 laptop and desktop, and my mouse/keyboard/webcam/headset all worked immediately. The laptop continued to charge at full speed even when the desktop was active. Expect 3-7 seconds delay when switching, if you need it faster you probably need something more expensive.Because it acts as a powered USB hub, it worked for me with an older desktop that an unpowered KVM switch did not work on. It is really 3 devices in one, a KVM switch, a powered USB3 hub, and a USB-C docking station.The only issues are that it didn’t recognize one of my PD chargers (a 65W charger that works fine when directly connected to my laptop), but a different 65W PD charger worked. Also it feels cheap and plasticy, we’ll see how long it lasts.

Title: Defective HDMI Ports
Review: Slow KVM switching speed and HDMI ports don’t work, unable to troubleshoot beyond using separate cables and ports on devices and no response comes through the KVM device. No management software either for internal settings or updates.If the HDMI works I’d be able to put up with the slow switching speed as a very nice budget KVM that suits all my needs as an enthusiast, but with the chance the HDMI ports show up not working it’s been a frustrating experience.

Title: Nice but has limitations
Review: My setup is a M1 MBP and a Windows desktop with just one monitor. I don’t see any reason why this would be any different for another laptop or desktop configuration.It works well, other than the fact it does NOT support anything above 60hz, which is a dealbreaker for me, and Anker’s lists basically ZERO specification information, hence why I took away a star. Will test with the other KVM’s by Anker to see if I can get what I need.In short, if have the same setup and you don’t need more than 60hz from your monitor, this KVM is perfect.Power:Apple charger provides power to the KVM.Laptop connection (PC1):1 USB-C cable (included) to the KVM connects peripherals, GPU/video signal to the KVM, and delivers/passes through power to my MBP (this is the only cable going into my MBP).Desktop connection (PC2):1 USB-C to USB-A going from KVM to the desktop connects peripherals1 HDMI cable connects desktop GPU/video signal to the KVM.KVM:HDMI Out, connecting KVM to the monitor to display whatever video signal is selected (PC1 or PC2) as well as peripherals.Anker needs to detail the documentation ASAP, total fail to not have it.EDIT:Dropped the score the HDMI connection dropped out intermittently, it might not happen for hours, and then it might happen multiple times within a few minutes. To me this is unacceptable, maybe I have a faulty one, but others report this too at times. If it were reliable and could handle higher refresh rate monitors, this would be a perfect product for me.

Title: Functional, simple, and reliable. Exactly what I wanted.
Review: This does exactly what I want it to do, simple and compact KVM.Contrary to what the listing says, it actually does support two USB-C laptops, one of them just needs to be plugged in to a different power source.But yeah, I use this at work to switch back and forth between my personal and work laptop, and it works great. Have had zero issues.

Title: Almost perfect except for power delivery issue
Review: This KVM is exactly what I needed to switch between gaming on a desktop and working on a MacBook Pro. The one issue is that the USB-C PD to the laptop will downgrade from 85W to 5W if you switch to the second PC. When you switch back to the laptop, it will not go back to 85W charging unless you disconnect all of the cables from the KVM to force it to power off. I confirmed this using the macOS System Information that displays the wattage given to the laptop and my Anker Prime Charger that shows the wattage delivered to the KVM.My setup:- A Windows desktop connected using the provided USB-C cable without using the HDMI input port.- An M3 MacBook Pro connected using the provided USB-C cable.- An Anker Prime 250W charger connected to the USB-C PD input with an 100W USB-C cable.- A 2K 165Hz monitor connected to the HDMI out port.Pros:- The USB switching works perfectly to share a USB keyboard and wireless mouse.- The single cable setup for charging, display, and peripherals for my MacBook Pro is very convenient.- I am able to output 2K 120Hz from my MacBook Pro using the one USB-C cable.- The KVM can be toggled on the box itself or via an included button connected over a cable.- The included button is magnetic so It can be mounted somewhere on your desk.Cons:- Display output is limited by the HDMI ports that only support up to 4k 60Hz.- Issues with charging downgrading from 85W to 5W.- Maximum of 5Gbps on the USB ports so you may see slow speeds for connected devices.

Review: Es hat mich einiges Herumprobieren gekostet, bis ich meinen Monitor dazu gebracht habe, das Bild vom MacBook korrekt anzuzeigen. Dafür musste ich den Farbraum auf YUV fixieren (default bei meinem Monitor ist “Auto” – damit “ruckelt” das Bild allerdings die ganze Zeit. Was NICHT passiert, wenn man den selben Monitor direkt verbindet!). Auf die Idee muss man erstmal kommen. Deshalb und weil das Umschalten tatsächlich ziemlich langsam ist, 1 Stern Abzug.Ansonsten funktioniert bisher alles wie es soll.
