Review: 40 Christmas Classics: This is exactly the Christmas cd I’d been hoping to find…some old classics like Gene Autry’s “Here Comes Santa Claus”, as well as newer songs. Many artists and a good variety songs. (Not sure why anyone thought that “I’m Walking Backward for Christmas” by the Goons was needed on this when there are many other songs much much better.) But I still like the clarity of the recordings, many great memories of when my parents were still with us Paired this with several TV Christmas specials on DVDs — great nostalgia for this Senior Gal.

Title: Great Get It If You Can
Review: My wife and I are tired of the “hip hop” Christmas music played on radio anymore. So I went looking for the type of thing we used to hear in the 60’s and 70s…These tunes are from the 40’s and 50’s presented in their traditional format by some top artists of the time. Judy Garland’s “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas” sounds like its from the movie sound track. Only one stinker on the CD and its some old wacky tune that’s supposed to be funny but its just annoying. If you’re not into current takes on Christmas music you’ll love this one.
