Title: Exactly what I needed after replace 25 year old machines
Review: I replaced 25 year old machines and the problem I had was the size of new machines would not fit in the closet because of the gas line and vent extending too far on the backside of the closet. Elevating everything allowed the new machines to fit and close the folding doors. Pedestal are solid and sturdy. Simple to assemble. The drain pan and hoses are a plus since this laundry room is on the second floor. I ran at least 20 loads so far and the machines remain stable during operation. Also no bending over with the added height. The machines were purchased from Costco and the “free installation” crew did not want to touch this. I expected as much and told them to leave the machines on the floor in front of the closet. The trick for getting these into position: Put a pedestal in the middle of the closet, lift the heavier washer on top, hook up the water lines, and use furniture sliders to move it into position. Then put the dryer on the other pedestal outside the closet and again use sliders to push it into the closet. Next carefully do the dryer hook ups through the bottom shelf access. Do not put your entire weight on the bottom shelf when crawling underneath. It’s not built to hold a person’s weight. Connecting the two pedestals makes everything one solid unit. Now I have the perfect place to put the laundry baskets.

Title: Sturdy Pedestal
Review: This is a sturdy product – new gas dryer meant adding a raised platform (it’s in the garage). The pieces are labelled and fit together well. Instructions are written and illustrated well. The simple tools included are satisfactory. I happened to own some T-handled allen wrenches which eased tightening. Good advise getting everything assembled with 80% tightened and then go around once more to 100% after everything’s fitted into place. One tip: don’t apply the vibration pads until you know for sure when the feet on the dryer are located.

Review: I am very impressed with the durable quality of the product. Requires assembling but each piece is clearly identified and the guide is well documented so there is no second-guessing. Steel bolts and screw holes are precision threaded so you cannot accidentally strip. I had to settle for grey instead of white but that does not take away from decision to purchase a well manufactured product.

Review: I bought 2 of these and got one right away (put it together just fine) and then waited 3 weeks for the 2nd one to arrive. When it came we put it together and we couldn’t get all the screws in as then would match up no matter what we did. then we went to attach them together to give more support and low and behold the connectors are VERRRRRY different and they wouldn’t connect. Even the foam padding is different. The 2nd one is a worse quality than the 1st one shipped. I almost don’t want them but I have a bad hip and I need these.
