Title: Good for Jackson Fans – Not Necessarily for Everyone
Review: As someone who grew up with the Jacksons, I enjoyed watching this set and getting to know the unique personalities of the brothers. However, if you’re not already into the Jacksons/Michael, you’d probably be bored. The series revolves around the brothers attempting to get a show together. It was interesting to see how they interacted with each other — funny at times, and maddening at times, too. Jermaine is a whiny diva who badly needs a reality check. Marlon tries to stay out of the “drama” when things get heated between the brothers, and he seems to distance himself emotionally so he doesn’t get caught up in it. Jackie is cool — he could have been more upfront at the beginning about his concerns with the show, but really, I don’t know if it would have done any good. And Tito is just awesome! Very practical and down-to-earth, but with his own unique and likeable personality.I was really impressed with the way the brothers treated each other respectfully and kindly. They may have disagreed on some points, but there were no shouting matches or name-calling or any other aggressive-type behavior. This kind of respect seems to have carried down to their children as well, because Jackie and Tito’s kids were absolutely delightful. Joseph and Katherine must have done something right! If there’s a season 2 and beyond, I will watch it.

Title: enjoyed this series…wish they had done another season
Review: When MJ passed away, I was between graduate programs. It was all I could do to keep going. I was like a hamster on a wheel. I am only now thinking through his legacy, which includes his quirky, but still quite talented family. I walked away from this series wanting to know more about these brothers. I enjoyed learning about Tito’s open heart and focus and Marlon’s sense of humor. I did not know Jermaine was talented, but out there nor how Jackie was the big brother who was quite sensitive, but expected to be heard like Joe Jackson, their father. Janet was so lucky having these guys and Michael (and Randy!) in her life. Now for a series on Miss Janet, Miss Katherine, Latoya and Rebbie!

Title: For Jackson Five Fans Around The World!
Review: Like most other positive reviewers, I too grew up with the Jackson Five since the early 1970s as Michael was only a few years older than me. I watched every single cartoon episode and had all of their albums and their pictures on my wall courtesy of RightOn! Magazine! It was so much fun seeing the brothers again, all grown up with kids of their own and different personalities! They made me laugh (as families do), they argue (as families do), and yet they love each other and stick together (as….well… you know). The only difference is that they’ve grown up in the spotlight, with all of their faults on display for everyone to see and to judge. Seeing their tears and feeling their pain was truly heartbreaking for me. When Michael left this earth, he took away a piece of my childhood. To this day, I listen and sing along to their music, dance with them on YouTube, and enjoy The First Family of Soul! RIP Michael….To the Jackson Five: I “Never Can Say Goodbye”! Love you guys!

Title: Inside the remaining Jackson Five
Review: There are two discs, full of information about the remaining brothers of the Jackson Five and their own families. For those who are interested in this family, you will find “eyes on” updating of who they are today and what they are trying to do. The story line is about a concert that the four brothers are trying to put together, and reveals their personalities and how they mesh or refuse to mesh together as they attempt something they had not done in years, and that is to work together in preparation for a concert. As children, they did as they were told without a lot of push-back. However maturity and adulthood has taken its toll on their ability to give and take in concert preparation. This information fills in many gaps that former utterances by Michael left unexplained. for hard-core Jackson Five fans, this video is “must” waching.

Title: I love the Jackson’s…
Review: I was only able to watch a few episodes of this show when it originally aired on A&E due to my work schedule. I must say, I had to have this on DVD as soon as it was released. It was wonderful to see the brothers sharing parts of their personal lives with us.At times it was sad for obvious reasons.Other time hilarious and great fun.I especially love Tito. The tough yet emotional one. Of all the brothers, he reminds me of my dear sweet Michael the most.I especially enjoyed the trip they took back to Gary, Indiana. It was so cool to see where it all started for them. I felt as if I were revisiting the past with them. The most beautiful part was the end. I love how Jermaine, Jackie, Tito and Marlon all got together to visit Michael’s burial site. What a touching bittersweet moment. This DVD is worth every penny in my book. I look foward to enjoying it for many years to come.

Title: this movie shows you the true feelings of the brothers
Review: when I watched this movie I have to say it was good to see the brothers together after micheals death. But it seems just like in any family theres fighting jealousy etc. in order to be like micheal and janet was you have to be dedicated to doing what it takes to be successful and they seem to not care as much as they did years ago. I loved seeing their children all grown up and their mother as well. But I think Jermaine is a drama queen lol and marlon is the nicest one he has a big heart. loved this dvd thanks

Title: Glad to see it on DVD
Review: I am a life long Jackson 5/ Jacksons/ Michael Jackson fan and this was more than a treat. I used up a good portion of my DVR space when this aired last fall and could not bring myself to erase it. To see it for sale on DVD was awesome! This is a treat for the REAL fans. Should you buy it you ask? Do you remember the J5 cartoon? Did you scream at any concerts? Do you remember the Jackson family variety show and the J5 appearances on The Sonny and Cher show or The Carol Burnett Show? If so, you’re a FAN who will get to see what the family is like 40 years later. The only drawback is that there are no extras.

Review: I have been a fan of the Jackson five since i have been a little girl growing up, they have been part of my life like a ‘very very distant family’ with their music. I bought this to find out more about the brothers who where part of this great family group and try and see inside of what made them so magical as well as magic which made Michael Jackson the king of pop. We hear so much of Micheal Jackson and his music/ life, his brothers where some what forgotton- if i can say that. This bio- dvd shows the drive of Jermaine and the way he tried to lead in parts which was fair but not always considering the others, Jackie the older leader of this group who in the end was finaliser to everything and Marlon the jolly and comedian of the brothers and the peacemaker, Tito quite serious and went with flow of things but a alliance with Jermaine at times. The work that goes into preparing such shows and pressure they have to deal with was enmormous just because of who they are. It shows their love as brothers and tightness at times, the disagreements also that they may be superstars but they have ups and downs like normal families. One thing they truly love one another which was so good to see, they knew how to cry and laugh together. Seeing their children and also hearing then say Aunty Janet etc so strange to us,as we know them as the Jacksons. it was nice to see the other Jacksons as I do think if Micheal had taken part he would of taken over this documentary as people would be more interested in him than than the brothers. It was also heartbreaking to see how they each coped at the passing of Michael and the premiere of rehearsel of his ‘This is it’ which must of been so overwhelming and see what the world was going to miss. I feel if you are a true Jackson fan this is something to watch.

Review: As a Jackson 5 fan from way back then, when I was only 7 or 8, this was a good insite to the rest of the family. Even thou there were references to our dearly recent departed Michael, it was mainly about the 4 brothers and how they have progressed since the Jacksons split in the 80’s.I really enjoyed it, even thou I did get the feeling that Jermaine is a bit of a primadonna, but hey usually one in the family. It is really great to get a behind the scenes look of their lives and if you are a true Jackson fan you will love this dvd, as I do.
