Title: Exactly what I was looking for
Review: I was looking for a bench that wasn’t too long for my space but still holds a lot of shoes and this seemed to be the best choice. It fits a good amount of shoes- about 4 pairs (mens size 7/8) per row with a little extra space that you can slide some flip flops into. It also fits 4 pairs of flip flops/sandals on the floor.Feels sturdy and good quality. It was pretty easy to put together but the instructions were not the best. It’s possible to put together by yourself but having someone to hold the shelf in place makes it a lot easier.Overall, I am happy with my purchase and it looks great by my door.

Title: Almost Perfect
Review: This is a very nice bench. The wood is beautiful. The leather top is nice and soft and durable.The biggest issue I had with this is that the middle shelf was a pain to install. I’m not sure if my set was just cut wrong or what, but no matter what, it would not lay flat. That means whenever I would set something onto it it would rock forward, and whenever I lifted something off of it it would rock backward, making a clunk sound each time as the wood hit the little mounting plates. It came with two middle panels, and both of them did this. I was able to somewhat secure the panel in place by putting one of their washers behind the mounting plate to sort of squeeze the panel tight so it wouldn’t rock back and forth. See pic. If you have this problem, you might also try a little felt sticker or something on some of the little mounting plates.Again, not sure if it was just my set, but I could not fit the middle panel onto the mounting plates without loosening one of the legs a bit to give the panel just a tad more space to slide down onto the plates. And then when I would tighten the leg back, it would squeeze the panel at two diagonal corners, allowing it to rock back and forth. I have a feeling a very small adjustment to the cut of the corners of the panel would have solved all of this. But as I said, this may just have been my set, I hope.Also, you can put in another panel, but then the space becomes too small for most shoes. So if you want to shelf’s for shoes, you cannot use the third panel. Unless you only wear flat sandals or something.
