Title: Stinky
Review: These are a funny prank. They just, for some reason, stink really bad. I don’t think they are worth it because of that. I also don’t like how the battery and wires and such are out instead of covered. It seems like a hazard.

Title: Have to reset every hour
Review: These noise makers do not stay on. The instructions will tell you when you open the package that they were only chirp every 4 to 20 minutes and then after an hour, you have to reset it. I place the battery (it was nice that they came with batteries) and set it on my desk to see how it worked before I used it in a prank. It chirped twice in an hour before I had to reset it. For over four hours, I tested it and I was lucky to get two chirps every hour. To reset it you have to press the button or turn it off and back on. Hard to prank somebody when every hour you have to reset it. I do not recommend this.

Title: April Fools!
Review: Bought these as an April Fools joke for the office. I followed the instructions but they never chirped unless I pushed the button. Bummer! It would have been fun to watch coworkers look for the crickets.

Title: Close but no cigar
Review: These are ok noise makers. The sound is perfect, but the failure comes in the form of design. It was designed to only be powered on for an hour and then you would have to turn it back on. That just doesn’t work if you are trying to prank someone over the course of days. I won’t have access to turn it back on every hour. The size is great, the sound is great, but the device turning off after only an hour ruins it for me.

Title: Useless. For me.
Review: Not the greatest in the least. I have other chirpers that have a lot more different noises and that lasts over a week on one battery. This chirper has to be restarted every hour or so. See the photo. What good is it to hide it somewhere when it only lasts an hour? How can you annoy someone when it only lasts an hour? They might not even know it’s there. I can’t think of any reason this would exist.On the plus side, the quality is top-notch. The volume is a little low, tho. I’ll give it an extra star.I’d say keep looking, as you can find a much better “Cricket Noise Maker Prank” at the same price.
